As much as I hate to see developers struggle, he deserved every last bit of what he got. This could've been easily solved if he privately communicated with Valve to to correct the mistake. Instead, he publically and stupidly goes on his soapbox to one of the most toxic sites today, Twitter. Also, to have your game

The game's gimmick and PR thus far scream marketing. The developer quite obviously wants attention and is succeeding in doing so. They know that their game will strike nerves with gaming journalists due to their careful choice of words and game concept hence they're not backing down. We've seen this tactic before with

This is what happens when you try to voice your opinions on Twitter. The message gets distorted through the use of hashtags. The service is horribly flawed. GamerGate doesn't have an identity or a leader and eventually StopGamerGate will be the same. They're baseless and useless movements which are easily expolitable

GamerGate hasn't been representing what it claims it started as for a long time. It's now a hastag that anybody uses, regardless of its original meaning. It's a scapegoat. It's the thing to blame when harassment happens. There's no body that we know of. There's no face to GamerGate.

I expected this from the get go. This add-on is obviously tailor made for only Smash Brothers... for now. That doesn't mean that the potential for the future is eliminated, however. Nintendo will need to open it up to the console via a future patch if the demand is there. Give it to developers who want to work with

Good on Square-Enix on this one. If KH3 was going to be built on an in-house engine, it would've taken them forever. One look at Final Fantasy XIII and Versus (XV) and you'd realize how long those took using in-house engines, which the Japanese developers aren't exactly up to speed with in contrast to the west.

Reminds me of a similar project a couple of years back only with a lot less internet drama. Despite being ambitious, I'm not entirely convinced that this will transition to 2D well.

From what I've played in the demo with the AI, it took awhile to get used to the controls. But once I got used to them, I felt right at home playing. I will still reserve my final judgement when I get my hands on the full game of course, but I don't feel that I will have big issues with accuracy and the circle pad.

The first game didn't flop. It sold quite well, actually. Breaking 1 million copies worldwide is not a flop. It's one of Platinum's best selling titles to date.

Derp. I don't know what's wrong with me today. Not focused for some reason.

Thanks for the correction. I could've sworn hat I read October 2nd/3rd for Bayonetta 2. Regardless, if I were to be very safe and ensure Bayo 2 gets maximum exposure, I would stay way from October/November/December due to the huge influx of games during that time. Maybe around the end of December or January would've

You're right. I still think big game releases from high profile titles may affect the lesser known releases somewhat. Some bleeding may occur.

Whoever's reponsible for release dates over at Nintendo needs to get their act straight. Why release Bayonetta 2 close to Smash Brothers 3DS in Japan? Internationally, Bayo 2 suffers from same day release date as Smash too. If you're forced to choose between the two, people will most likely people pick Smash.

It's nice that there are house rules, but I fear that Nintendo won't be able to tell the difference between the actual people who break the rules and the false positives. If dropping a connection is out of my control or I'm intentionally targeting a person who has high stock in a match, I shouldn't be penalized for

I'm not upset with this and it really shouldn't be overplayed. FFXV's mood and setting from the trailer seems to be a bro road trip-like theme, hence the male-only cast of playable protagonists. It fits. It's has this anime feel to it too, and some anime have done this bro-only plot theme from time to time. Nothing

Unnecessary comment. I don't get what's so ironic about it. Facebook acquiring Oculus cannot be compared to Microsoft buying Mojang. You can't mirror the two in any way. Notch's stance on Oculus' acquisition was justifiable because Facebook isn't a gaming company and wants to expand Oculus outside its original intent.

Very interesting change. I like it. It's very similar to how the Ultra Finisher was implemented to the Street Fighter series. I can see this rage effect bringing some balance to the game, especially if you're pitting a lower tiered character into the fray.

Loved the original so this sequel was a must-buy for me. I'm really enjoying my time with it due to the MASSIVE song selection. I really appreciate the fact that they included Tactics, Crisis Core, and Advent Children into the mix as these two games and one film have AMAZING tracks.

Very interesting and unique concept. There's no rule against screen-cheating and I consider it a skill because you need to shift your focus away from your own screen briefly to scan the parameter. I always do it in Mario Kart.

Makes sense. Long overdue change which I hope was intact long before this formal announcement. I don't see how one director can helm two big AAA games. Also, while I do enjoy Nomura, I think he's more suited to Kingdom Hearts instead of Final Fantasy. This Tabata dude already directed what is arguably the best Final
