Type 0 from what everyone's saying isn't your typical handheld game. It's console caliber, hence why console ports make sense in a way. If it's that good, it deserves a wider release than being limited to the Vita.

Very weird. First time I hear a game hiding improvements in its files. Is this source trustworthy and does his finding make sense relative to the actual game files? I'm not a PC expert so I wouldn't know. Maybe this dude ia full of it or the files aren't hidden as he claims.
Too bad for the flub. However, fans shouldn't get too entitled and leave it be. The Vita is relatively a failed platform, as evident by Sony's mediocre Vita showing at E3. Aside from Talea of Hearts, a few niche RPGs, most Vita games are ports and cross-buy games. Sales are down the toilet. Why would Square-Enix…
Yeah, man...which is why I'm surprised that Polygon themselves doesn't understand their own interview. They even made a video about their own interview misquoting and misinterpreting the interview, which is beyond embarrassing in my opinion. But because the title of the editorial is an eye-catcher, everyone's bashing…
Indeed, the amount of Majora's Mask requests has been crazy. I've been watching the stream chat in Nintendo's twitch for the past few days...it's insane how many people have been yelling Majora's Mask in there. And the reaction to Midna's special attack in Hyrule Warriors involving The Moon was epic.
Yeah definitely. It could be because of the GameCube controller. Maybe using the pro-controller will be different? The 3DS version will definitely be a good start to practice.
Very interesting. In contrast to other fighters, the controls are quite streamlined. But as its own entity, it might be more difficult to control than I anticipated.
Good points. Buisness wise, I absolutely agree with your thoughts. Giving the access of streaming to your average joe is a great feature and may elevate the Wii U a bit. Promoting certain streams is also an interesting idea. They may try the latter if it seems fit. But allowing built in streaming, even if they were…
Very well could be. I'm just throwing in examples from the top of my head, but yeah maybe even these twists are starting to get generic to a lot of people too due to the saturation of streaming. In essence, what Reggie's saying definitely holds true.
A lot of people like it, and there are a lot of people which don't like generic streams unless there's a twist to it, like interactivity with the chat room, multiple commenters, face-cam, web-cam, etc. It's fine if Nintendo sides with the fact that they want unique and creative content, not saturated generic ones.
It's not fun for Nintendo. They're not telling or forcing anyone what to do or don't do. Integrated Twitch just doesn't fit their portfolio and image, which is fine. They also didn't bar anyone from using it. You can stream Nintendo gameplay if you have the means to do so, but they don't want to integrate it for Wii U…
I'm more upset by the fact that this is sensationalism at its finest. This isn't pro-Nintendo bias per-se. I never claimed that Nintendo is perfect. They've done a lot of crap and stupid stuff recently, but for a company that's trying to rectify themselves, misquoting them and misrepresenting them just because it's…
You know, I'm really starting to get very annoyed by this news piece. Enough is enough. Everyone's jumping in the bandwagon with the same news title to the interview without reading it fully..which is ironic since Polygon did the interview, and they are in turn are misquoting Reggie out of context via that terrible,…
My God that was hilarious. Conan never ceases to amaze me with his humor, even when it comes to something as innocent as Smash Brothers. I'm quite surprised that he found it complex to play though...because its core mechanics and controls are really simple to learn.
Somebody fire that dumb executive. Glad Capcom did damage control and denied such statements. These stupid Capcom executives are the reason why the developer is in the toilet right now. They're also the reason why Street Fighter vs. Tekken became a disaster with on-disc DLC.
Whether they're talking out of their asses just to have us use the paid content in this FTP or they truly mean it, I'm a sucker for such things. Count me in! I love the graphical style of this G-bike spin off. Besides, I had a lot of fun with the bike game in FF7 so I could totally see myself playing this on my phone.
Like Jason, the game does indeed play similar to Valkyria Chronicles judging by those screenshots. We need more of that. Sounds like a creative new IP with Steampunk written all over it...and developed by Intelligent Systems no less. What more do you want?
I guess it's a wait and see approach to see what will come up for EVO 2014. I will agree if Nintendo doesn't do anything with EVO this year, whether it's Melee or SSB4, then they're missing out on a huge opportunity and going two steps back after an awesome response now. The hype's hot and they should roll with it.…
Agreed. That animated scene was extremely well done. I'm also a huge fan of the voice cast of Kid Icarus: Uprising, which do an excellent job here. If they can churn out some well voiced and well animated scenes for Smash and turn it into a real anime series, everyone will tune in.
I dunno. After reading their reply here, their decision makes a lot of sense in terms of the game's scope. If you will always be playing as Arno, then it makes no sense to phone in a female character just for the sake of diversity, especially when it's this far into the development cycle.
