Surprisingly solid. Well written dialog with seamless transitions between English and Japanese. Faithful and true to the spirit of the games. Great actors which fits their roles quite well, especially Ken and Akuma. Nice bits of humor. In short, this is the best Street Fighter live adaptation ever, which is just as

Wow, what an excellent read. I was entertained all the way through. The real life commentary logs associated with games during those times is a great concept for an editorial and I can relate to it when I relay my own stories verbally to friends and loved ones. That bit with the Turtles in Time remake is as real as it

Talk about sigh of relief. Next up: Horii encouraging some international DQ love. The series has been on hiatus since the DS remakes. There were on an excellent role, then the dumb people of at SE USA and Europe killed whatever momentum it had going.

Very hard to take sides in this one. There could be some merit to Zenimax's lawsuit, but maybe they're overblowing things out of proportion. John's positioning is very fishy though. Working with Oculus as he was an ID software employee, then leaving ID completely for Oculus. I can see why Zenimax is being finicky

Looks like a cross between Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter and Vagrant Story. I love what I'm reading and seeing. Still waiting for it to get released on the PS4 for UK/Middle East regions.

I managed to fire up DQIX and Layton 4 just to get all the downloads. Am I missing any other significant DS or Wii games with DLC? Hope I manage to find and download any remaining ones after work. Hook me up people!

One of the very few times I'm thinking sellout with this acquisition. On The other hand, if someone dangled 1 billion in front of me, it's very enticing.

WTF. There have been a lot of crazy buy-outs and stories lately. This one is definitely insane if it's true.

Agreed. Sadly, it's incredibly unlikely since they want this project to move X1 units as much as possible. Maybe a few years down the road when the sales wind down.

You're right. Forgot about the PC port. That will definitely make development easier, although the assets still need to be remastered to HD. From all the rumors floating around, I bet that they started this process awhile back.

You're right. Architecture didn't come to mind when I wrote the post. Easier said than done I guess.

They're also dedicating 90 minutes to this new 3DS game! An hour and a half! That is a lot of time for one 3DS games. A Star Fox or Metroid revival would work extremely well for the 3DS, as well as a new IP. I'm wishfully thinking Dragon Quest VII, but it's too niche of a game to dedicate a full 90 minutes for. I

Any of the Mario RPG games are perfect for beginners except for Paper Mario: Sticker Star, which is extremely unfriendly for beginners. I definitely recommend Super Mario RPG for the SNES (Wii VC) and any of the Mario & Luigi series for the handhelds. Thankfully, the first Mario & Luigi installment has just been

Halo 1, 3, and 4 won't require a lot of tinkering to "remaster" to 1080p since the HD assets already exist for the Xbox 360. Porting up these games won't be a hassle and will definitely pump up fans of the series. Perhaps multiplayer will be the only element which they'll need to extensively code to get up and

Yeah, but they weren't as popular as they have been for the past few years.

You're right. Worded that wrongly. I meant to write the dawn of the realistic, gritty and monocolored AAA titles.

This is like the complete opposite of Fuse. I love this "I don't give a damn" look and feel of the game, where the designers are making whatever they want to make without any concerns if it'll scare away consumers. Fun over realism is an excellent way to tackle a game that's getting more uncommon with the dawn of AAA

Wise words from Iwata. Making a new console now is suicidal. People will lose faith on Nintendo if they bail this early on the Wii U. The only thing they can do now is move forward with the Wii U and improve it from a software and infrastructure perspective. Optimize the GamePad, fill the e-Shop, improve the internet

That was hilarious. More of this, please!

Looks very impressive indeed for an indie RPG. It has a lot of charm. I'll be keeping my eye on this one. I've pledged too much into KS at the moment so I won't rush to give them my money, but if they're in need in the final 2 days, I might give 'em a push. It would be a shame not to see this game out.
