Two things on my to-do list before the shutdown:

Good on them for cutting the price. It sounds more reasonable now, but they would've been a hell of a lot more reasonable if all versions were priced 20$.

Metal Gear Solid 4. An excellent experience all around with a moving story and engrossing gameplay.

Definitely Ni No Kuni. My 2nd favorite game of this generation in general and my personal pick for 2013's best.

Really good deal for those who haven't jumped ship to the 3DS yet or are willing to upgrade/downgrade to an XL/2DS. I actually have an XL I haven't registered yet, so I can go for that at March. The only upcoming new game in the list is Yoshi's New Island, so existing owners will likely pay attention to this one as

Very well written and thoroughly analytical review. Your constructive criticism of the game is superb, as I can easily imagine the game's flaws and the very few pros it has without even playing it. Thanks for the warning, Kirk and Kotaku. I was actually looking forward to this one despite never playing a Thief game,

The Pokemon games work with this type of community play since it's more slow-paced and you're able to get things done. It's entertaining to watch, too. After watching a few minutes of the Zelda one, it's obvious that it's never going to work. It's boring and useless to play something this complex.

I can't wait. I always love me a good RPG, especially from the likes of Sakaguchi-san. My only gripe is that Microsoft doesn't promote it properly. They've done a terrible job with marketing Lost Odyssey and it now stands as one of the most criminally underrated JRPGs of last generation.

Very impressive. I'm sure it's extremely challenging to do a top-down to first-person 3D perspective. Indeed, it's like a whole new game.

I can understand his death. That jump in world 8-1 is incredibly tough to make without getting the coins. It's actually impressive that he got through it the 2nd time around via that double jump, which I still do not know how its performed to this very day.

LOL. Kickstarter-ception. What a dumb thing to crowdfund.

It's always nice to meet like-minded people who appreciate Sakuraba. He's probably my all time favorite composer. And Baten Kaitos...not only is it a hidden gem, but it has one of the most beautiful soundtracks of all time. I'm sure if that they ever plan an HD collection digitally, gamers would be all over it.

Yeah, after re-watching some of the videos, it's definitely him. Awesome stuff.

What?! Really? I didn't really notice for some reason as I never expected him to be part of this. Either way, that is awesome. Thanks for noting it for me. Now I know why the Bravely Default stuff remind me of his so much.

Just caught wind of this now. Currently watching the live stream. This train-wreck is hilarious. It's kind of entertaining to watch and I'm impressed that there's actual progress in terms of beating the gym leaders. Too bad that Twitch chat broke though.

WOW! This is an excellent find! Listening to the live Battle Theme Medley now and it sounds absolutely awesome. Just as good if not better than the studio/game version. Revo is definitely on my radar now as composers. I absolutely love it when Japanese composers and bands go live. Reminds me of Motoi Sakuraba's

Game: Obitus for the SNES

Good pick and nice story. It's one of the worse games I've bought too, but for some reason back then I was so into Mario I didn't care what I was playing. I remember playing it to completion and actually figuring out the historical aspects on my own. Weird, eh?

Now playing

I never thought anyone would mention Unlimited Saga. Glad I scrolled down the posts before I wrote my own. Indeed, this game...I just didn't understand it. I tried restarting it a few times back in the day, playing a few hours with some of the characters, and I just couldn't get what in the blue hell was going on.
