I remember reading reports on the 3DS Sonic the Hedgehog being released in Japan. People were saying that it was a very bad port and the 3D isn't that impressive. You're better off with the recently-released iOS version, which has widescreen, a rock-solid framerate, and some cool unlockables that let you play as Tails

I was talking in terms of market. They're doing this big thing eith FFXIV right now...people will barely pay attention to DQX because it's another MMO and can't compete with FF. It needs good breathing room.

Agreed. As much as I love Sony, the DualShock 3 and SixAxis are the worst controllers I've used. They're fragile, light, and feel cheap. Indeed, the internal battery is perhaps the best thing about it, but it's very inconvenient as when it stops working, you're pretty much screwed unless you open up the controlller

My first foray into the series was Dragon Quest VIII for the PS2 and I absolutely loved it even though I never got to finish it. Dragon Quest IX, however, I took my sweet time in finishing. I clocked in over 100 hours just to finish the damn game once with all the sidequests done and it's one of my favorite games of

Agreed on that part. Alphas don't work out for a reason; it's too early to make a final judgement. And I'm sure EA was the one behind the free-to-play and play-to-win concepts of the new C&C, not the developers. They should've at least gave the company a job to redo the whole concept without those restricting ideas

It's good that they're cancelling it. I don't know why anyone should bash EA and the developers about their decision. It goes to show you that they're listening to the consumer this time around and not going ahead with projects that fans don't want...unlike Square-Enix which realized this way late with Final Fantasy

I think the disparity between the two consoles will even out eventually, just like it is with the PS3 and Xbox 360 in comparison to the first two years of their lifecycles...in which the 360 was always the better choice for multiplatform games.

If Square-Enix continues on this downward spiral, their Japanese studios will cease to exist and we may very well see Final Fantasy being developed by westerners.

Great stuff. I think I'm the only one in the planet who likes Nomura's current style of character designs. His stuff from VII and VIII are awesome, but the added zippers, pockets and belt buckles makes his costumes really unique despite overcomplicating things.

Every time I tried playing a Battlefield campaign, even with the Bad Company side series, I always found it to be cheesy and uninteresting. So there's nothing new in this regard. The multiplayer, on the other hand, is absolutely brilliant. I'm waiting for the PS4 version. :)

Launches are never smooth, and obviously bugs will be detected and OS features that were promised will not fully deliver at launch. This rumor may be true, but it's not surprising considering the trend we've seen off all consoles.

I'm kind of disappointed because I didn't notice the fine print until I updated. ShadowPlay unfortunately isn't compatible with LAPTOP Nvidia Graphics Cards (I have a GeForce GTX 675MX), and I'm pretty sure that GameStream is the same case because I don't see this option displayed in my GeForce Experience Menu. :(

I already have the retail black cradle for the XL (sold in European stores) but I wouldn't mind a colored one to match my red XL.

I don't mind and most of you shouldn't. They only way to continue refining the software while keeping hardware production on schedule is to have people download the other features after the system is released. Nintendo started a smart trend but due to their patch bring bigger in size it fell flat on their face.

I'm baffled by Nintendo's decisions on excluding online multiplayer from Mario games. It's the perfect fit! At first, I thought they weren't capable of making robust online MP with little latency, but look at Mario Kart 7 and Mario Kart Wii. The former is amazingly robust and has little lag, and the latter was a

A smile has been engraved on my face until its release. That smile will be stretched into a Joker-like one as soon as I get my hands on this game.

Good review. Never played a PW game, but I've been an admirer. I know that there's a continuous plotline between the games so I want to catch up by playing the original trilogy on iOS.

I'm still confused about the nature of Ground Zeroes and for some reason no preview ever makes it clear. Kojima says it's intended to be seperate from The Phantom Pain...does that include its release nature? Will this prologue be released before The Phantom Pain...in retail or digital? Which consoles? Or is Ground

Now playing

Love the added little details of Hylian scripture. Great stuff. Reminds me of this relevant video:

Very nicely drawn and explained tutorial. I'll be sure to keep it in mind when I play Y and get to the point where I can obtain a radar. My first and only shiny was a Gold Zubat in Pokemon Black/White.
