I think my ennui capped out last night. I finally completed grinding out the “easy” powerful gear tasks (Flashpoint, ClanXP, Call to Arms) for my third character and found myself asking “why am I doing this?” It felt like a job instead of what I do to cope with my real job. For a while I was enjoying Crucible, but now

Oh sure, the Durham dorm rooms are shitty, but they were home.

No Mr. Poopybutthole? Well gollllllleeee. That’s not right.

The one lately that gives me the feels is the end solo on Yo La Tengo's Pablo and Andrea. Just brutal.

Or anti-vaxxer screeds. He's all about the scientific method when it comes to shitting on climate change deniers, but try using that logic on vaccines and you get "well there's just not enough evidence yet" (there is).

And also Joseph Smith being from "New England." But who knows, Nick may have been trolling us all.

A little Brother Edward talk from B5's Passing Through Gethsemane would've been nice.

Better than his "Boogie in Your Butt" I suppose.

He was banging Ralphie's mom? Who knew?

Bowl fix!

The Amazing Colossal Podcast (and it's offshoot Gilbert & Frank's Colossal Obsessions) are among my favorite podcasts. The two of them are great, and any chance for Gil to sing Dummy in the Window is always welcome.

Doctor/Davros really is Batman/Joker isn't it? Both insane, both lonely, both joined at the hip. And both's lives would be infinitely poorer if the other didn't exist.

Yeah. What show did they think they were watching? The McNeil-Leher Report?

What got to me is as Clara is learning the limitations of Dalek communications I kept wondering if so many other Daleks didn't have fear and confusion and possibly love in their hearts that their tank shell translated as "I am a Dalek" and "Exterminate."

I can't help but think that when the Doctor says "exterminate" at the end he's really aiming at the handmines (a concept that I wholeheartedly love). It'll probably end with him saving young Davros. So very TNG.

I'm pretty sure Thief was Justin Roilland and Movie Talker was Harmon. Not sure about Goth though.

Disco Kiss!

For me it was a scene early in the first Witcher game. You meet a healer/witch named Abigail and help her gather some things to heal the villagers. The villagers become convinced she has cursed them and want to kill her. The choice is you either defend her from the villagers or turn her over to them. I tried so many

I'd choose "The Assistant," but then again I've always been a little perpippity.
