Yeah, you're right. One of my close friends just came out of residency as is now an "official" doctor and it's a huge part of her identity (it took her 8 years after all!). It's something that's unrealistic about Kaling's show.

Totally agree. Her show could use some more balance with "serious issues," but as of yet the show could just as easily be set in an advertising agency as a doctor's office. The medicine isn't really a huge part of any plotlines that aren't silly.

Throughout my teen and early college years my mom would encourage me to "hook up" with my friends. I was always to embarrassed to correct her (we don't have the cool mom relationship where she wants me to have sex with dudes).

Um, yeah guys. I feel really awkward right now because I've loved him since Everwood.

Very close to Dudley or "Ickle Diddikins" as his mom calls him.

Meh. I don't really care whether it's grown up or not. I'm adult enough in plenty of other ways.

That sounds so good! I do raspberry vodka + diet coke.

And to think, I went straight to golf.

Lol...I know what moccasins are, I did end up googling it and I guess the "driving" part just means the tread on the shoes? It's probably some stupid golf thing.

I don't know what a half-zip, Barbour, or "driving mocs" are supposed to be (I could google it, but I'm kind of happier not knowing).

Volunteer work and pancake breakfasts.

I mean, for all we know Joan insisted on having it done at an outpatient clinic and signed a waiver. I'm not saying that's what happened, but I'm sure that investigators will be looking into this.

Her show doesn't do "issue of the week" episodes like some romcoms/sitcoms. Even "Boy Meets World" and "Saved by the Bell" did those kind of episodes (Shaun joins a cult, and the famous diet-pill addiction eps).

Sometimes I'll go back to a place if the only problem is bad service (with the thought being maybe I just had an exceptionally bad server)...

Agreed. And the actress really isn't bad looking, that's just an unflattering photo. And I'm over curly hair=ugly automatically, too.

Good to know. I actually don't complain about food ever because I'm convinced that they'll just spit in the food or wipe their ass before touching the plate or something (instead, I just never go back to the restaurant if I don't like something).

If someone started clapping when I was walking by I would be afraid they were mentally ill and/or I'd start looking around to see if I accidentally stumbled into some street art performance.

I started watching John Oliver all summer and neglected The Daily Show...but you're right. Jessica Williams is worth watching 20 min of Jon Stewart :D

Re: someone posting the stolen images. This we can't have nice things.
