I’m with you. I used to want to see more of his stuff, because he seemed clever when I was young and he would go hard on shit I disagreed with. But I think (at one point, about 20 years ago) he noticed that he got more attention for going hard, and just dropped the “clever” and “agreeing with swippy” parts.
