Agreed, but when I saw the title, I thought right off the bat, "WTF, the game hasn't been out that long, are we ruining it with spoilers already?" Then I could see it was done with a level editor, so I watched it. I'm apparently not the only one with the knee-jerk reaction. Also, were those really 24 DIFFERENT ways?
Making someone who doesn't look at all like the character they are cosplaying is a big part of the challenge. Gender doesn't have to be the focus.
Not ignore, but it feels like it's a main focus. If it was more about "making her look like someone she looks nothing like", that would address those points without focusing on gender. "Crossplay" hurts my eyes to read.

Exact same initial thought here. I thought it was going to be an alternative or updated throne room to Undercity. So the guy spent a year to make something that most people wouldn't recognize, or would think was something else. That's dedication.

Of course, you have the teleport option with an engie. So that's how you fix that in TF2, and control time penalties for death. If they pull it off right, it should have a lot of meta, like TF2 does.
