The whole thing was surreal but I think that was kind of the point? And I liked how it flipped something that would normally be like a fantasy come true into something that left him feeling shell-shocked and, um, insecure. And I thought Hayley showed a great deadpan comedic sensibility that had me laughing. Agree to

The Donnacha Dennehy and the Lemuria ones sound good.

Which album are you talking about tomorrow?

Love Snail Mail. Caught them earlier this year when they opened for Girlpool and they were great.

The album has a lot of rough edges which is probably half the reason I love it so much, but yeah Space is completely sublime.

I think it's totally legit to have Camp Cope up there. I haven't listened to it quite enough to edge out the ones I have above it, but it could definitely get there at some point.

I couldn't find either that particular album by BYOP or the Jojo and Nerve one but I listened to a few songs of the former and am listening to the newest album of the latter. Both sound very cool.

Well I guess with the shout out, I'd better give my list too!

Not even in my top-50. You'll be happy with where I put Lust For Life though. The real question is where I'd put Ultraviolence. I want to say top-25, but I haven't thought about it enough.

I just did a bunch of Shellac a few weeks back and now you are making me want to again. Never a bad time I suppose.

Crim3s - Stay Ugly
Myths - s/t
Salem - King Night
White Ring - Black Earth That Made Me
Prince - Purple Rain; 1999
Florence + The Machine - Lungs; Ceremonials; How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful
Madonna - s/t; Ray of Light

I honestly can't even tell what point you're trying to make.

Don't talk about Hayley that way.

Man people take this shit really seriously. I don't mean that as a knock on them per se, just sayin. I just thought the way the storyline played out was pretty funny.

And check out her music! It's great!

This is interesting to hear another perspective cause when I saw them I was just like holy sh** it's Hayley F***ing Kiyoko this is amazing.

Well this discussion seems to have gone off in a whole other direction, but I just wanted to jump in and say that I got insanely excited to see Hayley Kiyoko cause she's one of my favorite pop musicians and she was hilarious and great in this episode.

I know, I know, I was just looking forward to a change. Don't care for the Craig Bond movies at all. Oh well.

Lame.

Yeah I do this thing where I see something like this and go between numbness and dull rage for about 24 hours or so, but I've been an emotional wreck all day today.
