They had Blue as #1.
Hmmm, Madonna is one of three artists to have more than one listed?
Not that I'm aware of.
I haven't really kept up with South Park, but I will say that it's always been the case that the quality varies wildly from episode to episode. They've had some all time classics and some all time stinkers.
It's such a great earworm, and I also think it's a playful and hilarious bit of trolling with the title's nod to Summertime Sadness, and its chorus, "don't be a bummer baaaybyyy." Maybe trolling is not the right word, but you know what I mean. Like, subverting her own persona. I think the same is true of the album…
Thanks buddy, back at ya.
It took me a while to realize it, but I think it's more likely we're looking at a case of this:
The production is understated but exquisite, and the song writing is superb. Ultraviolence is still my second favorite, but this one is on another level for me. Pretty sure it's the whole trap-beat trip-pop vibe, done to perfection.
Impossible to live up to, unless it does. This album is an all-time great. If she called her shot, so much the better.
Take my relatively low rating with a grain of salt. I don't think it's a bad song by any means, and duets are often my least favorite on an album like this. I'm glad others are more into it than I am!
You (smart): she said she's "anti-feminist."
Me (dumb): actually she said true feminism is is for a woman to feel free to do what they want, clearly meaning that that's an ideal to aspire to.
You: see!? I'm right! Get it through your thick skull cretin!
…says the guy who thinks "she got plastic surgery" is trenchant criticism.
Always love a sick username burn. You're on fire.
Me (dumb): art is unique in how I measure its worth.
You might be the most obtuse, tedious, pedantic bore I've ever encountered on this site. I tried.
To answer your point about authenticity, I can't think of a single artist that I like or dislike based on whether or not they are "authentic." It is always about whether the art is good or resonant, or not. Art is probably unique in that regard.
I've not denied anything she said except for the single any instance where you said she said something that she didn't.
It means the fruit of her personality, her sweetness and joy.*
As near as I can tell, this is the article you're referring to:
I'm not twisting anything. Again, I've never read it. I'm going by your own garbled recollections, which seem to change from post to post.
