I swear even before I read the article I was going to say 'too bad, they probably could've gotten Eva Green.'
You're so brave. A true iconoclast. Thankfully we have you to share your brilliant wit even in the darkest times.
I agree it's difficult to discern, but there are a couple dead giveaway lines on other posts. "Show your superior integrity by taking the loyalty oath before it's mandatory" being one. "Welcoming our friends and allies into the fold of Christendom as they bow to Our President and Savior" (showing a picture of Trump…
It's satire.
"…the image of a robotic Hillary Clinton…"
There are other Skynyrd songs I like better but that one is still great. Your last point raises another question: what are some good drum solos?
Whatever. I'm speaking as a listener, not on the technical aspects. It's awesome. So's Hotel California, for that matter.
Although I am firmly on the fence between everyone who's mentioned Pink Floyd and Lynyrd Skynyrd, I'll throw out an under appreciated album that has a few, which is GNR's Chinese Democracy. My favorites are probably IRS followed by the title track, but there bunch of excellent guitar solos on the album. Buckethead is…
There's a reason Free Bird has become a cliche. That one is hard to argue with. Skynyrd was so good back in the day. It's probably a tie between them and Pink Floyd for my favorite band of the seventies, so it's hard for me to disagree with all the people throwing out Pink Floyd songs. But damn, Free Bird is awesome.
If you can remember any more names of the Eurovision stuff, I'd be interested to check them out.
But the overall trend does seem to be that it's growing on me.
Yeah, not bad! Could dance to that!
Alright, I'll stick with it, haha.
Liking that Land of Talk album. There's also a debut album out today from a Montreal pop duo called She-Devils, and it is quite good. Here's a pretty good review of it:
This is awesome how many people are bringing up Pink Floyd and making me really want to listen to a bunch of Pink Floyd. One of theirs is probably the correct answer.
