I do not need to change my opinion on 13 Hours as I already think it's quite good, and I will not change my opinion on Transformers, which are mind-numbing garbage.

Haha, sometimes it's hard to tell what actually counts as an album! Wikipedia calls it her first album, but you know, Wikipedia. I'm glad I started with that one though cause it's legit amazing. You should give it a listen for sure!

That is a bizarre way to start the review, and maybe you're right that they were holding it to too high a standard for what it is, but I have to say I mostly agree with the substance of the review. The whole album has kind of a cloying and focus-grouped quality about it.
