That’s cool though. I’m the only person I know who likes the original Resident Evil and Resident Evil 2 more than their remakes. We all have our different likes and nostalgias.

Also the environments. I know Half-Life isn’t anything incredible environment-wise, but I still find myself plenty immersed in them when I play.

Goldeneye is a game I played a ton of back in the day, but I just can’t go back to it the way I can with other games from that era, like Half-Life. It has not aged well for me.

That artwork is nightmare fuel. This is why we don’t imagine what real life Pokémon would be like and we just play the games and watch the cartoons.

My only problems with Final Fantasy IX were the weak villain (Kuja) and the last quarter of the story where it goes all sci-fi with the clones. It seemed like the writers ran out of ideas and just went in some random and confusing direction. Other than that, it is a solid game, but still firmly behind VI, VII and VIII…
