I’ll be applying to graduate school this Fall for statistics programs and I hope that someday I’ll be able to use this knowledge to work with the sport that I love. I don’t know if I fully buy into everything presented here, but it is intriguing and has me excited for potential opportunities in the future.
I understand Morris’s desire for more money, but... it’s the Knicks.
I don’t watch a lot of baseball but I do know Mike Trout, Bryce Harper and Clayton Kershaw. As far as guys who might be known outside of baseball, I would say these three are as good a bet as any.
Can’t we all just get along and play Pokémon GO? A game with a dedicated Poké Ball button I might add!
The accompanying photo makes this even better. That’s the same face I made every time I was caught eating all the Fruity Pebbles the same day mom brought them home from the store.
It must be strange being so tall that no matter how uncoordinated and awkward you are at playing basketball an NBA team is still going to take a chance on you.
Yeah, her apology kind of comes off like one of those non-apology apologies: “I’m sorry that the umpires caused me to react in a way that ruined your day, and I’m sorry the media reported on it.” I’ve never had any reason to think poorly of Serena Williams but there’s something about this that just feels insincere.
I was just thinking about this the other day. I remember being kind of bummed that I had missed out on Díaz the day of my fantasy baseball draft. Now, I am more than happy that I had to settle for Alex Colomé and Will Smith.
I agree that we should be shooting for more than just beating Mexico, but considering we were humiliated by Trinidad & Tobago and missed out on qualifying for the 2018 World Cup during our last major run of games, I see this tournament as a positive... especially considering we are going through a bit of a rebuild.…
I found it ironic during the match against Curaçao that Michael Bradley kept imploring the team to up their intensity and quicken the tempo, and yet every time the ball arrived at his feet any momentum the team had gained instantly died, as he either passed it side-to-side or backwards... sometimes even creating a…
Not sure how someone who works hard on both sides of the ball would remind you of Mesut Özil...
I don’t know if I would go so far as to say that the entire tournament is fixed, but the match between Argentina and Brazil sure seemed like it was.
I thought everyone loved Trudeau as prime minister. Can you tell I am not Canadian?
It pleases me that all the countries that whined or complained at some point in this cup are going home with nothing.
Should have been a yellow for Messi and a yellow for Medel. End of story. Play on!
This scenario made the most sense to me. Kawhi has nothing else to prove with Toronto, and if the Spurs were too dysfunctional for him there was no way he was joining the Lakers.
I still like Final Fantasy VIII’s fireworks during Squall and Rinoa’s dance at Balamb Garden.
I think VAR has been pretty good for the most part. It is not perfect and probably never will be considering it is still prone to human error. However, it gets much more right than it does wrong and it will improve with practice and repetition, just like most things.
Funny how our fucked up prison system still is not enough to deter people from doing bad things.
