I'm glad that people are finally picking this up. Even in her book, she mentioned that she was more like Olivia Pope - which is the problem - Olivia Pope is suppose to be based on Judy Smith. Ever since Judy Smith stopped being affiliated with the show it has gone down hill.

Question - then what is your theory on the writers are going to do with the character once his term ends? Do you think the series will end once Fitz is out of office? I ask, because, by every indication, Shonda is taking the show into a different direction. As seen, she purposely broke up Olitz and the way Jake is

Thank you for response. In all honesty I thought since I didn't have an Avatar and since I wasn't siding with Olivia Pope and questioning the behavior of the women you assumed that I was a "dude". Please accept my apology.

First of all, I am not a dude. Secondly, I was very respectful; I said, I was not being facetious and I was curious. Thirdly, you said "that its not that far…" which can mean "one step away", ?or very close too"; which lead me to think about the women's behavior. How can these women be "objectified" when they are

This makes no sense. So Fitz is objectifyng women who openly throw themselves at him but on the other hand, these women, who open throw themselves at him, have every right to do so. Which is it? Not being facetious, just curious.

They don't have to kill him off. His term as President is coming to an end. He can ride off in the sunset like all other former Presidents. As a matter of fact, after his term ends, I really don't know what Shonda is going to do with him. Hopefully, she lets him ride off in the sunset because his storyline will

I felt the same way. I'm like, the man is single, powerful, relatively good looking (his body is banging) and rich. Of course alot of women are going to be attracted to him, if not simply for the reason to have the experience of having sex in the white house.

the link you gave below doesn't ask gender

And don't forget Verna did it because she wanted to be a Supreme Court judge and Hollis just wanted a few favors.

In this episode, it was just too damn much going on.

I follow Kerry Washington on Twitter and she is Shonda Rhimes biggest cheerleader. She is always praising Shonda and just recently she tweeted that she works for the best boss in the entire world.

In responding to the 2nd paragraph, at one point, Season 1 and 2 specifically, Olivia did have more power than those in actual power because all her clients didn't always center around the White House. She had a very diverse group of clients from female CEO's, Senators, foreign dignataries, the Nations Pastor - she

I got this from another poster and it describes my feelings about the show:

I thought it was me, but I had the same exact thought - like Tom is Gay? Wow.

And that's the problem - OP is not suppose to be based on Shonda Rhimes, she was suppose to be based on Judy Smith, a real life crises manager who worked in the Bush I White House. Season 1 and 2, Judy Smith was a consultant and executive producer. She left in Season 3, which is when Shonda turned OP from Judy to

LOL

I wasn't able to get on. Please update me, I'm interested in seeing what people have to say

Just curious, who has Fitz been rude too. I'm not going to count Mellie because they were in a toxic marriage. Also, what women has he shown misogynistic tendencies too?

Unfortunately, like Susan, Fitz naivety and kindness was used against him. But I guess people are more sympathetic towards Susan because she is a woman and naivety and kindness are not traits one wants to see in a man "shrugs shoulder".

i lowered by age and as a matter of fact I tried every age and still could not get in. Can you give me a synopsis of what everyone is saying or some advice on what boxes to check so I can see the comments for myself
