Also, I want to add that Ken Starr, the special prosecutor in the Clinton case, started out investigating a bad land deal. But, as David mentioned, these special prosecutors have no boundaries and report to no one and, therefore, can start investigating anything they want - which is exactly what happened to Clinton.

As for Cyrus being fatherly to Fitz, on that point I agree with you. But I don't think the whole speech was bogus. It always appeared to me that Cyrus was somehow living out his life through Fitz's eyes. It seemed to me that since Cyrus, being gay, felt that he could never achieve the political career of Fitz,

There are no good people on Scandal. That's what made Marcus speech so potent. He really shut down that "white hat" bullshyt that was pushed during Season 1 and 2.

You know what I didn't get. They did everything in their power to pry Huck from his wife and child because according to Huck, B613 operatives could not have a family. Yet Rowan was not only allowed but insisted on having a relationship with Olivia and now I find that Jake was actually married to a fellow spy,

Baby Ella was more of James daughter than Cyrus. Cyrus never wanted kids. Cyrus did some finagling of the paper work to adopt Baby Ella in an attempt to have James quit his job at the white house to take care of her. So Baby Ella was nothing more than a political move by Cyrus to silence James.

Also, Olivia was acting like a school girl which I thought was soon cute.

I like Leo and Charlie too.

Edit again - ignore my two previous post on the comment.

I couldn't get into Rosewood. That was painful to type because every since 'Boyz in the Hood" I have had a serious crush on Morris Chestnut. And Lorraine Touissant, who I also love is on the show - even with all that, I can't get into it. I didn't even watch it last week - I just waited until 9pm for Empire.

Yup. I loved James also and one of the reasons why I hate Jake so much and was appalled that Olivia would actually sleep with the man who murdered her God Daughter's father. But that took place during that crazy OMG filled season 3 which Scandal is still reeling from.

He did the right thing when it came to the Brandon Bill.

You do remember that before Fitz sent the troops, he talked it over with Mellie who gave her consent. She even slept with Andrew to give Fitz information. Now, I know the argument is that Fitz, being Commander in Chief is responsible which is correct, but what do you think it will do for Mellie's political career

How did it work when Mellie threw him out of her office and fired him (or he quite)? Millie agreed to impeach Fitz because of what Fitz did - roll up to Olivia's apartment and take her out on a date for the world to see.

Cyrus feelings and words felt more like a scorn woman than a fired Chief of Staff. As mentioned, people do not react the way Cyrus did when their kids "leave the nest"; "fly the coop" or just don't want to be bothered with mommy and daddy at the time.

I also want to add that did you notice the Senator was willing to keep the equal pay law which white women are major backers off (he did mention his wife) and insisted on getting rid of the Brandon Bill which helps black people, mostly black males. That really jumped out at me.

You said Olivia can do better - like who? I've put out Fitz resume and accomplishments and will add that he loves her to pieces and is willing to do anything for her. So, who would be better suited for Olivia Pope? Hopefully, this doesn't come across as me being a female misogynist, but men at whiny period,

Point #3 holds absolutely no weight. Of course we are talking about fictional characters. Every show on AV entails fictional characters, yet people still create an account and post their thoughts on these fictional characters based on what we have seen on the show. Books of fiction have fictional characters, yet

Maybe you don't Chris, but some people do. Olivia has slept with 2 people outside of Fitz (Jake and Russell), trying to move on with her life and I can't tell you how many people have called her a whore. And what I found fascinating about their comments were that they were made during the same episode Lena Durham

Susan got elected as "Senator" as a single mom. Let's face it, Susan was not vetted for the V.P. position because the goal was to pick a soft target that would not give Mellie too much of a fight during her presidential run.

This didn't stop Carla Fiona. I heard her divorce was very messy, yet she still threw her hat into the race and so far, the press is not making a big deal out of it.
