the “equivalent of a morning-after pill” is not equal to “an abortion”

That was explicitly stated in the after-show interviews. One of the show runners said that somewhere deep-down he felt bad about it/knew it was wrong to use her so egregiously to get at Viserys, and couldn’t go through with it physically, and that’s the only reason they didn’t end up doing it.

I’m by no means certain I’m correct about this, because my perception is male and I can never fully understand the subject here, no matter how much I learn.”

Did no one catch that the urchin who told Otto was the same one delivering some coins to Mysaria when Daemon woke up? She’s the ‘White Worm’ AND she sold this knowledge to Otto knowing it would hurt Daemon. I’ve read multiple reviews and no one’s mentioned it.

That’s why they hadn’t done it previously to end things. It was only when the option was ‘suicide mission’ or ‘accept aid from his brother to end the war he started’ that he decided it was worth the risk.

Having not read the books, and definitely not having read any of the wikis that spoil everything, I feel Rhaenyra will ascend to the throne immediately after her father’s death, as the rightful heir to the Iron Throne. She will have a long reign as a wise and strong ruler, and Westeros will live happily ever after.

No mention of Ser Bronn of the fuckin’ Blackwater?

I *do* think Hightower wanted Alicent to fuck the king - I just don’t think she had it in her to try and do so (which, in the long run, was the right move even if she didn’t intend it as such).

All characters we didn't meet for seasons...this is episode 2

There’s been no evidence shown they had a sexual relationship.

This is a truly hateful comment.

I also think it’s been apt in showing how the patriarchy pits thewomen against each other for what little power is available in the keep, which feels particularly cruel.

I got into this episode more than the first one. It was refreshing for this type of show to eschew action and violence and tell a character-based story. Sure, you could say they didn’t do anything new with the story and dialogue, but I was involved because of the actors, especially Paddy Considine, and the breakout

I almost didn’t see the film version of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe because it’s one of my favorite books of all time (I just ignore the Jesus stuff), and I’d had such bad luck with book to movie adapations in the past. But it was so, so beautiful and matched up exactly with what I had in my head. SWINTON was

Can we PLEASE stop giving away the whole story in the trailers already? I used to spend so much time watching upcoming trailers. Now, I actively avoid them if I have any desire to see the movie. Seriously, the Terminator:G trailer kept me from even bothering to see it. “Sure, why not blow the big twist in the trailer?”

The end of R rated movies.

The desperate need to have anything with a budget bigger than the cost of a new car earn a PG-13 rating. I would like the occasional adult story handled in an adult manner without somebody having to please think of the children and how many tickets they might buy. The fact that Fury Road got made is better evidence of

Wow. Someone mentioned a placed at which I actually shopped once or twice!

In the early ’90s, I was a junior partner in a comics and game shop in downtown Columbia, Missouri, called The Danger Room. The senior partner and store manager Lucas also lived in an unused floor in the store (it was an old building that had been a women’s clothing store for decades and had tons of space), in spite

Dan, the proprietor of Second Foundation comics during the 90’s in Chapel Hill was a hero. Yes there was comics, and an amazing, massive selection of rare and used sci fi/fantasy books. The place smelled like a wizard’s library, that musty pulpy smell of old books. Local authors like Orson Scott Card and David Drake
