Can you teach someone about murder without killing them? Can you teach someone about rape without raping them? Just so you don’t call this a straw-man, can you teach someone about farms without them farming, or space without them going there? How about submarines? Or history? That argument is patently flawed.

I have family that don’t condone ANYONE saying the word. If someone is offended by the word itself, I will not say it to them or around them. I do not have the right to hurt them by saying a hurtful word, even if it is normally ok.

Apparently, it IS okay for white people to say the N-Word. But of course it is, why would I assume that while slander, libel, copyright infringement, plagiarism, and threats are all illegal, that hate speech would be. I guess I was just being silly.

He could have just said “N-word.” There would have been ZERO loss of parity in his example. It’s not like this euphemism is unprecedented. There is no logical argument for him actually having to say “nigger.”

If he was looking for a gut-punch, maybe somebody should have obliged him.
