So right off the get go you become factional. Not that you do not have a point, but there are idiots on both sides of the aisle. And there are good solid people on both sides of the aisle. Reducing the opposition to simple stereotypes is the same dehumanizing behavior promoted by bigots.

I get outright angry when I hear a tourist wandering around Orange or San Diego county telling someone on the phone that they're in "LA".

San Diego doesn't want your strip mall paradise. Being born and raised throughout most of Southern California, I can say that pretty much everyone looks at Orange County as the creepy cousin we occasionally have to brave a visit with in order to go to Disneyland. Western Florida, really.

But some of the people on that show are extraordinarily forgiving Like the Bengal that launches itself at it's owner's girlfriend's jugular every time she enters the room. I really

I grew up with an uncle with Downs and have worked with disabled people.

She managed to make her point without the personal abuse. Pity you couldn't do the same.

Did you really just use the equivalent of the "I'm not racist, I have a black friend" defense?
