It feels weird asking this here on the NY Post website, but has anyone seen Gizmodo? I wanted to read up on some tech.

@usedtowork: Do they "donate" their products then? Not trying to bash the company, but NO ONE gets exposure like that in Hollywood for free. Not even the great Apple.

I don't have a subscription to NYT and therefore can't read the article. Does it mention how much money Apple paid to have their product put on TV those 2400 times in September? Nothing says influence like paid product endorsements.

@fughedaboudit: It would matter a great deal if the founder of Microsoft used their primary competition's product. It's the same as if the CEO of GM drove a Ford. Or the same Jack Heinz using Hunt's ketchup. You just don't do it.

"Is it true that Bill works on an Apple laptop?"

@Scenick: You seriously believe the only people that own Zunes are MS employees and their children?

@Canoehead: MS software runs a helluva lot better on Apple hardware than Apple software runs in Windows. I wish Apple would make a little more effort towards tightening up their PC software.

He originally said back in the 70's that there were 9 episodes.

No doubt Obama is asking Steve what the secret to creating lemmings.

I was expecting an article a bit more... beefy.

"Special thanks to Xbox"

@Cupajo: Shrug it off all you want, but packaging is crucial. Commercials may get the people to go to Best Buy to check out the product, but it's the package that ultimate sells it. Normally whoever is the prettiest wins.

@Antonio Musa: That may be true, but in the end Steve stole the GUI from Xerox, then turned around and sued MS when they did the same. As I said, it takes a special kind of asshole to sue someone for stealing your stolen ideas.

I actually wouldn't mind paying for it rather than viewing ads. Rovio make it happen.

@jamjon: Oh he's dead on, that's for sure. I just thought it was very hypocritical of him to point out how unoriginal MS is while Apple basically lives off of stolen-, er, borrowed ideas. What really drives me nuts is how they sued MS for the GUI, something they completely ripped off of Xerox without giving them so

@Mattbleistern: Out of one side of his mouth he brags about stealing the GUI from Xerox, then out of the other side he chastises MS for not being original. Brilliant!

So Big Brother is writing software to automatically identify 'sex crimes', eh? George was right!

This article goes a long way to not describe the biggest difference between your eyes and a camera lens: 3 dimensions. You can't tell depth from a picture. You can assume it, but you can't see it.
