@RiotRix: Hef's girls.
@RiotRix: Hef's girls.
@sadie-panic: @H_is_for_Heretic: Well, back in the old days (that must have been 1980), and in a small town, yes bare legs were for kids, and pantyhose were worn by "ladies". Tights were different - only kids and ballerinas wore them back then. Now days when I think of pantyhose I think of stewardesses and the…
@la.donna.pietra: A friend of mine has a 9 year old daughter who has already started her period and has been boy crazy since she was 7. She is also 5' 2" tall. I'm sure it must be very difficult for her at school, being so ahead of her age group physically. Kids develop emotionally and physically at such different…
@sweetbeans: That's absolutely not to say that routine leg waxing for every girl is ok. My mom still didn't let me wear pantyhose or makeup until I was in highschool - and I think that's a good thing.
@la.donna.pietra: Yes, I had a full set of pit hair in the 3rd grade. The jungle gym in the playground was where I learned that I was the only one, and later begged my mom to allow me to shave - she did. For me at the time it was about fitting in - I had no ideas of what boys were for (except kooties).
@polypam: She is such a snooze. I wouldn't wear any of her stiff sacks.
@midoriland: I thought that comment of Nina's was an attempt to psych us out and think Jay was going to win. Right before that they were talking about which designer had the most possibility for future growth. Either way, it was an annoying editing choice.
@midwestdesigner: Right? I hate being this person, but ...aren't some of these the "shoeties" we were mocking a couple days ago? Also, I kind of feel like if I wanted to see this many items ridiculously out of my budget I'd buy an overpriced ladymag.
I wish this was real...I'm in love with "Linda".
@MercilessMay: Now try getting reamed out by someone irate over a $.35 cartoon puppy sticker being missing from her order.
@Birthday Girl: And let us not forget that many feminists ARE MEN. My father included. My husband included.
@IceRoadHooker: I think Carrey's implying that Elin was to blame for what happened to her (having a husband who cheated on her, and loosing control of her marriage)...but not so much for the fact that he cheated. However he does imply a bit that she was an enabler of sorts. Calling her a "willing participant" and…
@Chamalla,barren crone: If it helps, I see you as a delicious cupcake.
@Chamalla,barren crone: Here here! I was so disappointed to see an article about infertility be turned into an article about how fertile women have issues, too.
@CristinaS: Me too. In fact, I think that if bc is used consistently the effectiveness increases to around 98%. I was shocked at how dismal my chances of conceiving were once I really started trying. I think a lot of people see women over 35 or 40 getting pregnant and assume they just got a quick ivf or a sperm donor,…
As someone who has been through the stress of both trying to avoid getting pregnant, and wanting to get pregnant I can say that there is no comparison between the two. Trying to conceive is much, much worse, and I would argue possibly equally bad for the men and women.
@alixana: I don't think Dodai's calling him a jerk, but that the producers have succeeded in making a lot of people dislike him. Nearly every week they show him dissing Tim and/or another designer, and then combine that with clips that focus on his big ego. I don't think we're seeing the real version of him. He and…
@Dallifornia: are you agreeing or disagreeing? I see large custard "pies" billed as tarts at the bakery. Not just cups and not always with fruit. Still, it's not really a custard, so that does make me think it should be a "pie" after all....
Let me point out the following: 1. Cheesecake was only measured against 4 of the 16 "pies". If it wins against Red Velvet it will have beat out only 5 out of 32 possible choices. 2. Wherein many see cheesecake as a cake or certainly anything other than pie. 3. To close, I submit that what we have accomplished is to…
