Exactly - if it weren’t for Zoos so many people would not even be aware of the plight of animals. The tigers at the Zoo in my area (and Lions as well) were all taken in after being confiscated from the illegal animal trade. Funfact: there are more tigers privately owned in the U.S. than there are in all the Zoos.
