The body is somewhat straight and aside from a bit of surface rust here and there it was in really good condition. However the rear quarterpanels where toast, consisting more of bondo than metal. The paint was also in somewhat bad condition so at the moment it's sanded down a couple of layers to give it a new fresh

What?! Jakopnik has a forum?! :P But nah man supercool project/DD, I love the fact that you're rebuilding it to a '78, looks way better if you don't mind me saying so.

My hero! What engine you've got running in that thing? Please tell me it's still a Pontiac powerplant!

Mounting a camera backwards on a Pontiac Grand Am and saying it's "FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT USE"

Maybe it's not to say "worth it" to you and a lot of other people but to me driving slow on a perfectly good winter road with my rwd Volvo is one of the worst things in existence. Even if I'm not in a hurry to get anywhere I usually end up passing the slower driver with my rear wheels still spinning from the downshift

Even though it will never officially be the slower drivers fault I'd like to think that it is. I don't know how many times I'd had to do risky takeovers just because some old lady driving at half the speed limit because the road happens to be covered in a couple of layers of snow. As long as the vision is good and you

Yes look at it! If the headers go straight out the front fenders then where does that rear exhaust lead? Dammit! Is it really that hard to make a believable post apocalyptic car? The last good one was probably Mad Max's Interceptor itself, which also happens to be the one that started the trend :P

Moral of the story? People that drives to slow in the snow causes the majority of the accidents even if they realize it or not :P

Maybe I came across wrong, I was being sarcastic. Instead of letting go of the steering wheel with one hand to hit some obscurely placed warning button he should have kept both hand one the wheel and tried harder to save it.

Good thing he managed to activate his warning lights even before he crashed, things could have ended badly otherwise...

Ain't that rusty airfilter enough for ya?

Maybe they're just really badly sunburned... Cause plastic can get sunburnt right?

Not to be an ass or anything but kind of yes :P

Well as long as it's being taken good care of I guess it doesn't really matter if it's owned by an enthusiast or not... But still I know guys who would sacrifice a couple of vital organs to own one of those.

LOL! :D That thing looks brutal as f*ck!

You're doing it wrong! :P

Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa... whoa... whoa... Okay I respect your opinion on which Camaro you like the best but owning one of these, one of the rarest muscle cars in history and not being a muscle car guy! Either you're lying or you're a fool!

Muscle cars aren't supposed to be expensive and they never where, that was the main appeal of them in the first place. If you're buying an expensive muscle car then you're doing it wrong!
