Beyond Gamepass, the main reason I moved to Xbox over Sony after owning every Sony system up until this gen was in the software and UI support. I picked up an Xbox One X a couple of years ago and was immediately amazed at how much better that entire ecosystem navigated and ran relative to my PS4. When I read that Sony

inb4 “i got one easily all i had to do was sign up for every alert app, follow every alert account on social media, subscribe to alert discords, offer a blood sacrifice on the full moon, and pay a scalper (that I won’t tell anyone about)”

Not exactly surprising anyways, honestly this entire supply chain issue/COVID has created a situation where the previous generation of gaming has dragged out. Not only have releases been pushed back extensively, but we still haven’t seen significant switches to the new gen, because most people still don’t have the new

Who the fuck wants to play dozens and dozens of hours just to change the color of a visor

I kinda love how cutting his own salary is the “wait, wait, WAIT” part of the the guy talking smack gets decked” narrative..

Well, I suppose prepping his golden parachute is taking a bit longer than expected.

It already is! For clarity, that press release, and the accompanying video that’s gone on their YouTube, wasn’t up when I wrote this story.

It’s also been confirmed that GTA: San Andreas will be available on day one on Xbox Game Pass

I don’t disagree with the notion that the attachments and deck-building make it less pick-up-and-play friendly than L4D, but I also think that’s kind of a silly criticism to make. L4D would drown in a week if it were released today.

For better or worse, we just don’t live in the world of static arcade shooters

With all the cool military sci-fi equipment Aliens just seems to be the perfect, easy to make, action game. It’s obviously not. The problem is, it’s almost impossible to balance. Everything we know about the Xenomorph, as the perfect organism designed to kill humanity, is that they are super scary, intelligent, and

Yeah this game isn’t really for you if you didn’t like Aliens or much of the expanded universe from novels/comics/games/toys.

When vaulting was first announced, they released the soon-to-be vaulted content as free to play first, so at least people got a chance to experience it.
