I vastly preferred CE to DX, myself. DX felt too much like Snake. It may have been a decent game, but a bunch of ghosts standing still is not Pac-Man.

I agree, this is a really bad idea. I mean, practically it won't matter because there probably won't be many people using this feature, but if it were to catch on...so much for a bunch of peers being able to quickly reassemble full copies of the torrent without a seed present (and even if you have a seed, now everyone

It took me a long time to figure out what it was, myself. Mostly because I thought it would be a Burnout game.

How does the streaming work? Isn't it contrary to the spirit and optimized functionality of Bit Torrent to force-download chunks sequentially?

Any chance we'll get some Wii impressions? I'm trying to decide whether I want to replicate the swing, or replicate the laser-imaged course but play with my thumb. Leaning toward the former, but it would be good to know how it holds up.

Steel Diver is first-party.

If you think that's OUTRAGEOUS, check this out:

I'm pretty sure I'd get a black one (being strong and sticking with my iPad 1 for the moment, as was the original plan), but: "So if somebody gets a white iPad, they're doing so to make a fashion statement"? Really? Some people just like one better than the other, and buy what they like. Why does everything in tech

So they're only officially bailing on the Xbox/PS3 version, right? Still holding out hope for multiplayer on the iPhone (as was listed in the original App Store description).

The Internet became a little less friendly today. I was going to comment on this article, but I don't want my IP subpoenaed.

You could also write a letter to Trion Worlds (developers/publishers of The Rift), letting them know what kind of impressions Kotaku is associating with their product.

Have you ever _read_ spam?

Hmm, I'm not seriously reading too much into these random numbers thrown around, but let's try for a second:

During and immediately following activity, absolutely. During periods of rest, however, I would think large layers of fat would do more to keep you warm.

This isn't really spying on "your iTunes Library". If anything it's spying on what you've bought through iTunes, which is very different. It's not like iTunes sells anything obscene, so what's the concern here, exactly, with "yellow journalists and opposition researchers"?

Agreed. Two clicks to sign out means it takes me twice as long to leave Gmail. I'm sure Google loves this design, as it encourages leaving yourself signed in so they can track all your searches and other activity, but bad design choice from the user's perspective.

Ebert recently expressed some thoughts on why 3D movies will never "work" ([blogs.suntimes.com] ), but to me this is even greater proof. Forced, narrow focal depth is extremely limiting and can be very frustrating for the viewer, and seeing how people watch 2D films should show you why.

"Absolutely.. however VD is not the only time you should be doing this. Every weekend the kitchen, bathrooms, office, and vaccuming are done before she wakes up so that she doesn't feel that she is left cleaning the house on her own."
