@nacatak: You mean the CEO of a tiny company that Microsoft won't even buy isn't coming right out and saying Apple wasn't all that interested? Well then.

So both Nintendo and Apple turned these guys down, and reviews have been saying the end result doesn't feel especially fluid or precise, and suddenly Nintendo (with the proven Wiimote and Motion+) and Apple (with the super popular Multitouch) are idiots?

@rainman: Yeah, I have to say, aren't all these suggestions to be

@GamerKT: Well, for a long time you couldn't. Then eventually they integrated correction tape, which was basically a tape covered in a whiteout-like substance. Some would be unraveled, a hammer would strike it over the character to be 'deleted' and you'd carry on your way.

@woshiernog: No, because Microsoft wants it.

Does anyone know if this update finally lets the Xbox remember settings for multiple wireless networks? It's kind of ridiculous having to enter everything all over again any time you take your box somewhere, and then again when you take it back home. Especially if you have a 32 character password and possibly manual

Even the "Please Walk" bonus round was intense. Blizzard never disappoints!

@scrapking: Yeah, probably the most positive "new review" I've read, and yet no "Editor's Choice"...

I've actually always wanted a BrainBall table ([www.mindball.se] and this sensor immediately struck me as a way to realize my dream on the cheap. I hope we see something like that come out in software, if the Vitality Sensor is anywhere near comprehensive and responsive enough. Maybe just a little WiiWare thing.

"In late 2006/early 2007, then-Xbox boss Peter Moore wanted a "Wii Killer" to be the centrepiece of Microsoft's next E3 press conference."

@thepenguin55: Even besides trying to get a Blitz and NFL license to the same company at the same time, unfortunately you'd still be very unlikely to see another Blitz like the original.

I'm sorry to hear they've removed the genius create-a-player and RPG-style progression that they introduced in NBA Hangtime. Maybe next time?

That sucks. First YouTube, now LiveStream. How's a guy supposed to make a quick profit of some weird eBay purchase?

This is a good idea, but while we're specifically talking about unplugging cable boxes, a friendly reminder:

I know most of this was a joke, but people do realize that "force feedback" != "rumble", right? It's far far more sophisticated and nuanced.

@Orionsaint: I haven't played Minecraft, and I don't feel like figuring this out in detail right now, but my understanding is it is the result of some modifications made to pre-existing Enterprise blueprints combined with scripted data-entry into a level editor. That is to say, it definitely wasn't done block-by-block

@bobby.tables: As mentioned in the article, Chrome separates everything into different processes (including extensions), for stability and multi-core utilization purposes. That's why there are so many "exes".

If only all cars weren't the same shape and painted with the same muted set of colours, huh?
