@Jim Douglass: I don't understand, either. I tried both the Apple+Nike armband and DLO iPod nano sport armband, and between sweat and rain both armbands killed an iPod. On my third iPod now and I opted for the huge waterproof OtterBox. Not as comfortable, but at least it will survive.

I like the sound of Burnout: Hot Pursuit better than I liked Need for Speed: Paradise. But it does beg the question, why doesn't EA/Criterion just call things what they are?

I have a question for those who use these exercise programs. I don't sweat an unusual amount, but here in the middle of the ridiculously hot, humid, "never-ending blow-my-brains-out seasonal affective disorder freaking kill-me-now" New England summers (sorry, I miss Canada), you and everything you're wearing gets

@DrZaius: Yes. Hangtime was the best in the series. I hope they bring something similar back, but considering we haven't heard anything yet, I'm guessing they're not.

So wait, by "this game feels like a more or less 2D throwback to the Super Nintendo" do you mean it's as brutally hard as the beat-em-up games based on the original cartoon? Way Forward knows how to do brutally hard (see Contra 4), so I still have hope.

@zåɳzißarlegeпȡ: I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure no one owned a 360 or PS3 when NBA Jam was 'being made relevant'. No wait, I couldn't be wrong, since Microsoft and Sony weren't even making consoles at the time.

@Twille08: Another one bites the dust!

@dkrefft: This just blew my mind.

"Many games are not able to run on the new iPhone 4"

Does anyone else get the feeling that if you had asked him "Are you finally going to fix that money bug? That was really lame," the answer would have been "Can you believe some cheaters actually think it should be left in? I've been campaigning to get that fixed."

@That mop mutant: Pixar movies have traditionally had absolutely terrible trailers. I think Disney's marketing just doesn't know what to do with such quality, multi-dimensional films anymore.

@Rik1138: One analog control? So...the big touch screen, accelerometer, and gyroscope just don't count?

Speaking of smartphone OSs and mobile hotspots:

@Kobun: She was also wearing a tight body suit in Smash Brothers. Other M doesn't seem out of the norm for the character.

@Koda89: The 4 "extra" SKUs are more likely a DS game and another Guitar Hero band-specific game. 2 major releases does not mean 2 releases period (or there's something coming the first half of 2010, I guess).

Wait, you say there was a big spike after Lich King when they announced 11.5 million, and that it's still 11.5 million? So the new-player spike was 100% sustained even more than a year after the fact?

@-Skyline-:Offering FREE Grunt Birthday Parties!: This was probably a joke, but just in case: $99 is not cheap for a DVD player. Especially one with a crappy interface and no remote. In fact, it's probably the most expensive DVD player you can buy.
