The Japanese posters for the movie “Edge of Tomorrow” (where the character Keiji in the original Japanese novel is renamed Cage) literally say this: “日本原作、トム・クルーズ主演！” (based on a Japanese work, starring Tom Cruise!”), “世界が認めた名作！” (the masterpiece recognized by the world!”). So yeah, no complaints about “whitewashing”…

Looking forward to watching this movie, if only for that pimped Hollywood ISS with the humongous cupola.
