Obi Wan really shows its roots as a 2 hour movie that got kicked around and then expanded way beyond what its scope should have been.

I first tried to watch obi wan when it came out, stopped after 1 and a half episode because it was crap.

A few days ago I decided to try again, I thought maybe I was a bit harsh , maybe my expectations were too high.

Nope, it’s fucking trash. The writing, the directing, the staging, the decors, it’s all amateur work

Well, we’ve got the lore to backup the preoccupation now, at least.
This was a cute reflection. Best of luck finding the ‘home’ in wherever you’re at.
Maybe one day you’ll even feel comfortable enough in it to give other parts of these games some screen time. 😉

Lazarus looks like a Mirror’s Edge adaptation. How many times does that protagonist jump?

I’m sure all this will give him a great IPO price.

Yes, what every advertiser loves to see is the word unmoderated.

What, the mods are being prevented from working for free? Oh no.

So, like most ‘CEOs’, he’s another ‘promoted beyond the level of his incompetence’ clown who cannot see the forest for the trees, nor the trees for the forest. He has no meaningful skills or knowledge, and is relying on the status quo of an atrophied ‘profession’ that is easily the least important job, with the lowest

It’s unpopular and also missing important context about the pricing and context. Remember that Reddit only had value because these mods do millions of hours of work for absolutely no pay whatsoever. Reddit only has value because of their input. Also, Reddit isn’t merely charging enough to cover their costs, they’re

They get far more access to your phone when you use the app vs using the browser. Plus it’s much harder to block ads.

What’s hilarious is that Reddit lives off of Free Labor (Unpaid Mods) and User Engagement (Advertising) + Money Spent within App. Now they are trying to use the Musky Twitter Model and destroy both Free Mods (Labor) and Users who will go elsewhere once the next site pops up. Trust that I have zero attachment to Reddit

This was the only possible outcome. Capitalism fosters this. It’s really funny how often you see an article or comment that’s like, “Wow, I can’t believe we live in a system that rewards greed and for some reason a bunch of people and corporations are being as greedy as possible!” Yeah, what else was going to happen?

that not only was Reddit “never designed to support third-party apps”

Bro Jedi Survivor hard reset my computer multiple times.

I used to use Reddit on my phone from time to time... in my browser. Recently, it told me the mobile site is now read-only and I had to download the app to login and post. Instead of doing that, I just stopped using it. They really want you to download that app.

Late stage capitalism is a real slap in the face, yeah.

The internet was a better place before it was raped by capitalists.

I hate how many of the things I’ve liked over the years turning into complete garbage in the name of pumping stockholder value by any means necessary

Reddit “never designed to support third-party apps” (why did you have an API then?)

You could drop the first word from this headline and it’s universally true.
