Obi Wan really shows its roots as a 2 hour movie that got kicked around and then expanded way beyond what its scope should have been.

I first tried to watch obi wan when it came out, stopped after 1 and a half episode because it was crap.
A few days ago I decided to try again, I thought maybe I was a bit harsh , maybe my expectations were too high.
Nope, it’s fucking trash. The writing, the directing, the staging, the decors, it’s all amateur work…
Well, we’ve got the lore to backup the preoccupation now, at least.
This was a cute reflection. Best of luck finding the ‘home’ in wherever you’re at.
Maybe one day you’ll even feel comfortable enough in it to give other parts of these games some screen time. 😉
His design in Spirit of Vengeance is one of the reasons I’ll always defend that movie. He looks so fucking cool.
THANK YOU. I said the same thing. Normally you can’t help but smile whenever he’s on screen, but his sense of fun is (IMO) one of his biggest assets, and it went completely unused in this movie.
The best thing about that sequel is that the Ghost Rider looks terrifying. His skull is covered in soot, his jacket looks like it semi melted tar.
“It’s not good, but it is very entertaining and is weird and dark and stupidly over the top”
Sure...the key difference being those didn’t spend a decade in “active” development, burning god knows how many millions years before a second was ever shot, compounding the break-even point (and any chance for a sequel) by multiple times and ultimately losing the studio a lot of money.
So was Ghost Rider, Hitman & Fantastic 4. So we know being bad is not THE deciding factor to getting a sequel.
The Rock’s best attributes are his charisma and sense of joy, but for Black Adam he (or somebody he listened to) decided to put both of these on the shelf. Maybe it was a mismatch for him to play that character all along. He might’ve made a better Shazam -- hell, his tooth fairy was more fun than Black Adam.
I’m sure all of that played a role, but mostly it was just not a good film.
Well when you make a movie that’s...“It’s fine, I guess, I mean at least its not offensively bad”...regime change and philosophical differences tend to become bigger and bigger issues.
Was the problem really “regime changes” and “philosophical differences,” or just that the first one “wasn’t very good” and “didn’t make a lot of money?”
Lazarus looks like a Mirror’s Edge adaptation. How many times does that protagonist jump?
I’m sure all this will give him a great IPO price.
Yes, what every advertiser loves to see is the word unmoderated.
What, the mods are being prevented from working for free? Oh no.
So, like most ‘CEOs’, he’s another ‘promoted beyond the level of his incompetence’ clown who cannot see the forest for the trees, nor the trees for the forest. He has no meaningful skills or knowledge, and is relying on the status quo of an atrophied ‘profession’ that is easily the least important job, with the lowest…
What’s hilarious is that Reddit lives off of Free Labor (Unpaid Mods) and User Engagement (Advertising) + Money Spent within App. Now they are trying to use the Musky Twitter Model and destroy both Free Mods (Labor) and Users who will go elsewhere once the next site pops up. Trust that I have zero attachment to Reddit…
that not only was Reddit “never designed to support third-party apps”
