The file was about M. Carter war crimes. Thompson just assumed that is was Peggy because if her brother officially died in 1942, she would have been the only Agent M. Carter.

That's the point, isn't it? It is a distraction. We know where Peggy was in 1943. She was in the US, helping with project Insight.
It makes perfectly sense to me….The Movies have the Avengers-verse, the Space-verse and I guess soon the Mystical-verse. Netflix has the Streetlevel-hero verse. And ABC got the Spy-verse.
That's what I thought, but the last press release said that they would be hunted by S.H.I.E.L.D.
After the episode Yes Men (which is still their worst imho). From this point onwards it just keeps getting better and better. I have never rued to give the show a second chance. It was soooo worth it. (in fact, I have dropped all CW shows at this point, because I can't stand the melodrama anymore. AoS is like a breath…
That is the point. The design is supposed to scream "government agency". It is the perfect fit for what the show is about.
Thankfully AoS is an ensemble show. Daisy has become more and more interesting as a character, but I watch the show for Fitzsimmons above everyone else (love them all though!). And I can't wait to see her stepping up as leader of the secret warriors. I also think that you are unfair concerning her acting. Whenever she…
I was satisfied with the Daredevil finale, but if we discuss satisfying climaxes, than AoS Season 2 finale blows everything out of the water. Followed by the one of Season 1.
The file Thompson found is about "Agent M. Carter" - and her brother is named Michael. If Peggy knows nothing about it, she wasn't involved in what was mentioned in the file. And since someone bothered to steal it, it is certainly not a fake. Her brother was, like her, an Agent, or he wouldn't have been able to…
Yeah, it would be really cruel to leave Thompson bleeding on the ground, Peggy with a mysterious key and us with the question if her brother is still alive. It would have been better to cut off the episode before the Thompson scene if there is no chance that there is coming more. (Which kind of makes me hope that they…
The first season of AoS is the worst part of the MCU brand. But the show overall is really, really good. At this point some would argue that it is their favourite. That is the great thing about the MCU shows, they are all so different, that it is entirely up to personal taste which one is the best.
If they want her to be the new Doctor, she can easily do both. It is not like Agent Carter is a full-time commitment.
No, 1943. Here: http://archiveofourown.org/…
To be precise, the day Steve became a supersoldier was June 23 1943. He was recruited on June 14 1943.
Na, that was more or less true history. The SOE was established in 1940s and it was the first British spy organisation which thought out of the box. Other spy organisations had strict structures and only recruited male Brits. The SOE recruited outside the usual channels, and they took woman as well as willing…
Sadly the chance that it gets a third season are very slim. The ratings are horrible for ABC - it is really depressing to watch.
Though I don't really think that it makes much of a difference for them where they set the show, since they need to CGI a lot anyway to put it back into the past.
She met Steve in 1943 - that is a lot of time to become a badass, especially since she already had some knowledge about self-defence beforehand due to her brother teaching her. And she was already working as a code-breaker at this point.
I don't think that it was needed, but I liked the point it made. Peggy got her chance on her silver platter because her brother believed in her, and she took and became a competent agent. Agnes was stifled all her life, and her attempt to get the chance to be what she wanted to be was rejected by an university which…
I think that was kind of the point - she was inventing a radio which wouldn't exist until 20 years later.
It was never said in season 1 but I always guessed that he had been in Europe. Either way, around the time of the Battle in the Bastogne, Cap was busy watching Bucky falling to his death elsewhere.
That occurred to me, too, but then I remembered that he isn't invisible anymore. And if he is discovered, he will be in big trouble.
