Each state has their own bank regulator/commission. You may file a complaint with them, too.

Nishiki brand premium rice: prewashed. No washing necessary.

Agreed. That’s why I avoid pies: lazy baker. I prefer putting all ingredients in one bowl, one pan, and bake. I do very well with cupcakes and brownies.

Yep. My experience exactly. The dishwasher cannot handle dried on “thick” foods as you mention.

Baking is a pain because you have to be accurate in your measurements. I think of it as a chemistry experiment, except with food. Any measurement mistakes or missing item in the recipe, it shows.

I seem to run with idiots tech-illiterates, once in a while... they “Reply All” for messages.

THIS. Applies to messaging as well. Nothing worse than use of the Reply All function on messaging apps.

May not be the greatest idea if the pothole is about 3'-L x 1'-W x 2'-D. Not joking. I saw a truck stuck in that pothole. It took the city about three months to block off the hole and another two months to fix it. Your taxpayer dollars at work!

I don’t see any reason to have genetic testing unless it’s medically necessary or for court cases (criminal, paternity, etc.) Even then, how do you know the lab you’re sending it to didn’t mix you up with someone else? Things happen with regular medical tests, so one could assume you could get the wrong bad result

Yes, the video way of peeling the orange, you will only get the segments out. The equator way will peel the whole orange. And you get two nifty orange skin cups out of it. If I was truly DIY, I would make orange sorbet and freeze them in the cups. Since I’m lazy, it just becomes garbage cans for my lunch.

Or, occasionally hire a cleaning service. It makes me: put away things that I don’t want them to have access to and throw out junk. As a bonus, I have a clean home that I didn’t have to spend all day doing (freeing up my time to do some work while keeping an eye on them)

Peeling an orange with your thumb works very well if you make the slice around the “equator” of the orange (stem end as one of the “poles”). I just use my nails to punture the equator, then run my thumb along the inside of the peel.

Good on you! Celiac disease is not easily diagnosed: the tests are so general where you have to undergo a battery of tests and see specialists just for a true diagnosis (time, cost and discomfort is a BIG FACTOR when undergoing this).

I find homemade glass cleaner does a really good job: Alvin corn homemade glass cleaner. You just have to remember to shake well before using (corn starch in the recipe... it really works well).

I would check out the financials of the insurer if it’s one you never heard of. Do a search of financial news. It may mention that the insurer is deeply in debt. You don’t want to be stuck with no insurance if the insurer suddenly files for bankruptcy.

Yoga is the better than people think!

I had a bad experience with a business laptop extended warranty with the overnight-business, onsite repair: the manufacturer sent inept, third-party repairmen, who kept bringing the wrong part. For a month.

You forgot to mention Songza (curated music channels), which Google bought last year. It’s still independantly running, so I’m not sure what Google’s doing with it.

There are some people you have to run away from: I have an acquintance who disliked my spouse for having a similar personality/demeanor as acquaintance’s ex. The venom and anger was overwhelming. My spouse is NOTHING like this person’s ex. Thankfully, we don’t run into each other often.

Anyone who can’t stop talking about their Ex. Avoid.
