Darth Maul.. Drider?
Cool. Haven't played the first two but sounds like a must-get.
Best thing about the episode. The whole supermarket subplot was just a waste of time and the main plot about Bart becoming a graffiti artist just fizzled out at the end.
Hmm yeah gun chewing really does sound painful. BTW, Jess, it should be The Steampowered Globe. The title changes to Steampunked Globe a couple of times in the review.
Well those Greek Gods should be first in line.
I had the same reaction when I saw the Fox News report.
Yeap the video was painfully dull. Good luck to them, but nothing in the visuals was particularly exciting, original or interesting.
SFSignal has a post with links to many of the short fiction works: [www.sfsignal.com]
Well I don't think it's a travesty, just not a very good or imaginative ad; the two parts didn't even link together well. What happened to VW advertising? They used to be known for their ads, and didn't require all these pop culture references.
uh I don't think GRRM was trying to make good, classic literature. Maybe you should be reading Franzen instead.
Will definitely check this out. The TV movie version, with the scene where the Woman in Black comes right at you, is one of the most chilling horror moments ever.
Lovely art. I don't play the game but would love to see an artbook for this.
One of Dali's parties featured in Michael Chabon's The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay, though it almost did not turn out well for the surrealist.
The X'mas special happens after season 2.
Hope they shit on his coffin.
Simon Pegg was the best thing about the film, with his comic timing. Action sequences were all right; kinda felt like Brad Bird had been handed a template by JJ Abrams to follow and not colour outside the lines.
Ghost Rider has always been a C-grade superhero in the Marvel stable, despite his coolness. This film looks fun enough for a viewing, even if it does star Nic Cage.
Well none of that $150 was spent on the script or the acting.
Funny the villain of Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol apparently thinks the same thing.
Tales from Earthsea was by his son, Goro Miyazaki. The film has run into much controversy, and Ursula LeGuin has dissociated herself from it.
