Well part of it was that Franco kept seeing Caesar as a pet, not understanding that C had evolved to become.. well the Che Guevara of the ape revolution. what they wanted when Franco went to pay off the head guy at the primate control center was different. I thought it showed how C had evolved.

In this case, Charles is nominated for an award at WorldCon, and being from the Philippines where wages are quite low, it would be hard for him to travel to the con on his own. I follow his posts on SFSignal and other blogs, and frankly if not for his posts, I wouldn't. (His free fiction links are a wonder).

They've had a nice run, and WOW has still succeeded beyond their wildest expectations. But there's only so much you can do to make the gameplay interesting. I'm still surprised that the drop is so little; thought it'd be a LOT more.

From what I see, interest rates of 30+% are standard, due to amount of time collecting the $ back and so on. I think some of those who are loaned money might not be too sure about the math, only looking at the amount they have to pay back every week or month.

I find the comic losing its attraction for me, as the group tries various new communities but finds each lacking, which results in zombies attacking and destroying it anyway. Maybe it's some kind of metaphor.

Hmm short film didn't quite impress. Besides the costuming it might well have been any generic zombie movie. Good luck to the comic series.
