I'm not sure I'm looking for her to leave Teddy or anything, but I think she and Janet are the two healthiest things for Daniel… and I guess Ted Sr. makes three :)
Amantha isn't a bad person for Daniel, but she spent so much of her life fighting for his freedom, and now that he's out she reeeeeaaaally needs to focus on

Daniel's lawyer when he was a teenager.

Every Daniel-Tawney scene is electric. I hadn't realize how deprived we had been this season, but those are my favorite moments of this show.

Small towns can suffocate themselves with their lore and urban legends, things that get distorted by time and word of mouth from busy-bodies with no connection to the event but an inflated sense of self-importance seeking attention. It was a great moment to highlight that atmosphere within Paulie. I'm not sure I'm

Spoiler alert for Mad Men Season Finale: SC&P dissolves and Sterling's secretary moves to El Paso, getting a job as a sales clerk in a thrift store.

That's taking it a bit far, but a lot of my friends are into the broad (read: bland) comedy of BBT, Modern Family, etc., so the uniqueness of Judge wasn't gelling with them for most of the show (see: sesame seeds), but the genius of the final episode really cemented that this is something special, the ambition of SV

Goddamn, I was telling every single person to watch this show and I'm so glad that the finale joke made it worthwhile for all of them. That and the artwork on the garage. I'm so happy it's getting a second season (albeit without CEW :( ) and am really excited for more Kumail/Martin interactions since they really

Pulpy weirdness. You have to embrace the bad writing and just enjoy the ride!
This was definitely better than the 90 minute premiere (seriously, only Fargo was worthy of that length this year, and even that was a stretch at the time) pretty much because the vampire-ness is coming out full-blast and it's nashty.
I'm

This show is really good at making you hate teenage girls. Christine is terrible (she and Wayne can both go take a long walk off of a short pier) and Amy/Jill have such a strong Mena Suvari/Thora Birch "American Beauty" vibe that it's driving me crazy.

That tire-shop coffee just doesn't seem so appealing anymore. Also, routine.

I think it's a sign of watching too much bad tv but I was totally expecting Daniel to accidentally shoot one of the party-goers in the leg and then I was going to crumple into a ball and die with the thought of him going back to prison. Happily, Rectify is smarter than that :) but this is just as much Daniel's choice

Lezlie with a "z."
Daniel with a "d."
Swamps with a "p."
…am I doing this right?

I never really realized how great Ted Sr. has been throughout all of this until now, but you can definitely see how it's beginning to wear on him. The opening scene with him and the defeated "filters" was such a lovely way to set the tone for this episode.

I haven't watched this episode yet, Mr. Swamps and myself are ready to give any show on FX a solid try, but this is just so. hard. to embrace. I can see this getting filed into the hate-watch family unless something stupendous happens soon.

Guys, can we just take a minute to talk about how exquisite Christopher Eccleston was in this episode? Ferocious and heartbreaking, and that look at the end that he gives the GR? Shit is about to go down and I cannot wait! I'm still not entirely sure what is going on with this show (i really really enjoyed the

Not to say that Abigail Spencer's performance hasn't been superb this entire time, it's just that her plight isn't something relatable, to me, though I can try to empathize. But tonight it really hit home, especially with her interview at the store. You used the best word for it, it was devastating It's why I ship

I seriously only created this account to comment on this show (however, I'm looking forward to joining the conversation about this and several other shows) because it deserves the attention. I fucking LOVE this show. Two things:
