Yeah, I finally get how sexy Cher was, but not why Sonny was popular. And I get the dirty jokes, but they still suck. Ironically, the parts I appreciate most are the song and dance numbers.

Hell, I have DVDs of Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In. AND THEY'RE STILL FUNNY, DAMMIT! Again, speed is essential — quick cuts and editing that must have been hell to do without computers and modern editing.

Fortunately, ME TV and other cable channels rerun Lucy and Carol — but not so much Honeymooners — so those who were little kids back then can watch and maybe get more of the jokes. Hell, even Sonny&Cher is on some nights, and I FINALLY get all the filthy double-entendre.

The only problem with Harvey Korman "breaking" was that he did it EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Tim Conway could LOOK at the poor man and render him helpless.
