So apologies for being somewhat ignorant on this entire process, but who would be some potential candidates for a “neutral arbitrator” in this context? I’m just afraid they’ll appoint Bernard Pollard somehow.

I avoid the color run scam by playing a whole lotta video games.

It’s called the bin Tawil Triangle, and he’s correct. Because of a British cartographic mix up and a related treaty, Egypt and Sudan are both pretty fervent in denying any claim to the land. It’s truly terra nullius

Compared to what other teams had done recently in regards to ball tampering, they didn’t get off easy. If the Pats truly got off easy, they wouldn’t be kicking and screaming like this.

Let off easy? Two teams broke the same set of rules last year (Carolina and Minnesota heating balls) and got off with a fine 5% of the Patriots’. The Falcons pump in stadium noise and get a fine one third the Patriots’ and a 5th rounder. The Ginger Hammer went wildly overboard to satiate the public’s general idiocy,

I am a firm believe in Dibs!

Like i said, I honestly don’t expect Mr. Kraft to use that money for the fine. I honestly believe it will go to charity. Its about making a statement of support. We feel the Patriots didnt do anything wrong. Even if the balls were deflated under the league minimum. This was how our quarterback liked the balls, just

With (all non-American Indian*) people split...

When pressed for comment, the mayor retreated to her bridge where she belched fireballs and threw hammers at anyone who tried to save the princess.

How isn’t he better than her on this? Even posturing to look better makes you better on something than someone who regularly supports civil liberties being trampled.

I didn’t come here for the prose, either.

It’s not the “love the sinner, hate the sin” formulation that is the problem. It is that the Church often considers things sinful that they shouldn’t. (As an aside, I am a pro-choice, Catholic women - and yes, I do consider myself both even though both sides try to tell me I can’t. But even as someone who is

Good luck with that alternative. Complete moral libertarianism is... dicey, to say the least

I just fail to see how holding love in your heart for people, regardless of their actions, is anything less than noble. If you’re using it as camouflage for still hating a person, that’s shitty, scumbag behavior, but if you mean it, I can’t see how it’s a bad policy at all.

I don’t see how ‘love the sinner/hate the sin’ is a bad policy. I get how viewing abortion as a sin is a problem, but I fail to see how continuing to have love in your heart for someone who has done something you think is wrong is a bad policy at all.

What’s the alternative? Hating a person for one mess-up forever? I hope that if you have kids they never do anything wrong, because then you’re going to be in a tough spot: either keep loving them and be a ‘complete fuckface’ or stop loving them because they did something bad.

Hillary/Francis 2016

Ooh. Bill “I know better than the Pope” Donohue and his hate group the Catholic League are not going to be happy with this.

To me it just sounds like guys hanging around enjoying themselves. I agree that they behaved inappropriately on the ride home, but other than that I don’t see the problem.

In all honesty it doesn't sound like they did anything inappropriate until the ride home. I think you are being a bit harsh.
