‘Raiders and slavers’ - which is a bit of a weak reason but it’s the one they give. I’m with you that I’d rather deal with a few evil people (especially if I had a small community) as opposed to hordes of runners, clickers who are damn hard to put down even if a single bite *didn’t* spell doom, and the worse variants.

Which is a great laugh when we consider what they think a few miles outside of Boston looks like.

Amusingly one of the Atlantic Canadian pizza chains is Greco. Though it appears it predates this Greco’s pizza days.

More cool ranch for me then. I am happy with this outcome.

Yeah I fully agree it’s not a tragedy (other than taking place in an apocalypse).

Yes Bill *could* have kept living and it wouldn’t have cheapened things if he did. But if I was in his shoes I strongly suspect I would have made the same choice and died content and happy with it.

Their relationship in the game had a *very* different outcome.

Also I wouldn’t say that Ellie killing the infected man was her being ‘cold-blooded’ in the least. In fact I’m pretty sure it’s meant to be the opposite - her venting her grief and anger at Tess dying in her name. She might not have the same bond to Tess that Joel does but that’s still something that needs catharsis.

Absolutely beautiful *and* guaranteed to piss off all the right assholes.

Loved it (and so glad they took this route instead of the game version).

Clearly he just went to spend time with Shelly.... /s

aka ‘Morality system? We couldn’t be assed.’

This is my complete lack of shock or surprise.

Spores still existing, but not being an active threat usually, fits with our interaction with fungi in the real world. Our lungs are really good at fighting off spores - we’re constantly inhaling them - they only generally become a threat if your immune system is compromised.

Our immune systems *aren’t* great at

Yeah that last bit was my issue with the moment. Sure the zippo is dramatic... but grab a fucking grenade.

Because if anything is going to placate the far right it’s appointing a Jewish woman of color to the role instead!

The fight definitely did a good job of driving home ‘this is not an invincible hero’ (even if plot armor says otherwise). As much hiding as fighting - and getting easily trounced when doing the latter.

Hakim did an amazing job as the professor - her body language really sold the doom and despair to come.

As a note ‘phy

‘Baldwin as actor’ - Shouldn’t be considered guilty. It’s not in the purview, nor expected skill set, of an actor to be able to tell if a prop weapon is live or not - especially when they’re *not* pursuing manslaughter charges against the person who actually loaded the live rounds into the prop.

‘Baldwin as producer’

Yeah ‘menu hacks’ were fun when it was people being creative and making things out of the component parts themselves (as long as they weren’t leaving a disgusting mess in the store in the process). It should never have fallen on staff to make them.

If you’re not willing to do the dirty work yourself then that’s what

My personal head-canon for suspension of disbelief until/unless the show proves otherwise:

Spores do exist, it’s a fungus after all, but they’re not a risk to survivors because they’ve already been exposed and were strong enough to overcome them. In the outbreak days though those with weakened immune systems, like the

If there’s a season 2 it better start with Graydon saying ‘nah, I’m good’. It feels like a disservice to his character to have him become the new Crone willingly - plus just repetitive.

Yes, he’s susceptible to darkness but he’s also been freed from it - two times over already let alone having to do it all over again.

Funny. There’s zero technical reason said White folks can’t follow the hashtag and follow a bunch of awesome Black creators. Doesn’t seem like they’re left out at all to me.
