Yeah I never understood the aversion to ‘ugly’ foods that are just going to be eaten in a format that doesn’t look anything like their natural form anyway.

A cult leader, with actual real demonstrable power, with an obsession with Egyptian mythology already having a cultist or two in a major museum with a prominent Egyptian display made sense to me.
Not the right response but an understandable response.
Yeah it wasn’t the right action but I can’t say that I might not do the same if someone was mocking my loved one’s medical condition.
Very happy to see the Kung Fu renewal. Unless season 2 shits the bed it’s been a really fun show with a great cast.
It was a decent timewaster. Definitely liked it more than ‘Nailed It’ which always felt kind of mean.
The version I heard was that the Irish curing of beef lead to the term ‘Corned Beef’ but that was for export not for local consumption. The Jewish people had what was, essentially, Corned Beef but not specifically named as such. Then, after the Famine, Irish settlement in America/Canada swelled. As the Irish were…
I can’t judge donating to the military instead of humanitarian aid when he’s living in the country being invaded. I’m sure in that case getting the invader out is his first priority. Given his history of donating I’m sure he’ll be doing the humanitarian side too once things are settled. Fingers crossed that is soon,…
Gary’s fine - they’ve previously launched Kayla into the temporal zone in the exact same fashion and had her come back.
Level of guilt depends on how bad but, in general, I know that some people need that money no matter how bad the weather is. Which is horrid for many reasons but we’re stuck with this system for now - just make sure to tip heavy.
A great season overall. Yeah the butterfly had a point but it was making that point from within a non-consenting flesh suit who hadn’t been part of the global picture so.... Can’t really blame Chris on that one even if his friends hadn’t been in danger.

But with this it’s all on D+, which doesn’t rely on advertising and thus not on viewing numbers, so it doesn’t make sense to require cross-content…
Maybe it was a Canadian market thing - I remember constant commercials for it as a kid.

Yeah I’m sure there will be DLC, and maybe even modern DLC, but that level of polish and for only one area screams cut content as opposed to ‘pre-DLC prep’.
Hard to believe the Arch Deluxe was a bigger flop than the pizza. I guess more people shelled out for the pizza despite it being terrible.
My guess is that it’s less puritanism and more laziness. They’re likely going to have the puzzles randomly generated from the word list with no/minimal oversight by an actual person - so they want to not risk it grabbing something ‘offensive’ as the word of the day.
Guessing someone learned about Pellagra once and somewhere along the way lost the fact that it had already been solved by the indigenous peoples and eventually settlers figured it out as well.
Wonder if Augie was just throwing out what he viewed as insults randomly or if this actually confirms that Chris is bi/pan.
And from the North a challenger appears:
