I find it’s not uncommon for k-dramas to ‘discard’ POV characters once they’re no longer needed. Which can suck sometimes when it comes to closure.

That tracks with it being there before the ship and with Salvor’s resistance to it seeing as she seems to be in touch with psychohistory in a way the other colonists are not.

It is very nice to look at. Whether the story will match that is ‘outlook cloudy but not so good’.

For all of its flaws the pure amount of Kirby Dots in this episode makes me incredibly happy.

What a horrible waste. Up until the reveal of the ‘ferals’ the Connie part of this would have almost certainly cinched it as best of the season and, honestly, probably one of the best episodes period. It was incredibly well crafted horror even after it suffered tension loss from switching between the plotlines. Then

Hari’s ‘murder’: I’m pretty sure his plans required him to be a martyr. He expected it to be the trial but the inability to predict the individual, Gaal, only the big picture meant she stopped that from happening. Hence Plan B with having Raych kill him.

I really love that the show always remembers that its protagonists are teenagers. It is frustrating to watch them do stupid things or react with drastic emotion - but it rings completely true to what it felt like at the time of life even if the situations they are put in are larger than life.

You left off the best part: ActRaiser!

I’ve been wanting a new ActRaiser game for decades and, while this might just be a refresh, I’ll take it!

What’s funny is that any of the cast so far announced, other than Pratt, could very easily play a live action version of their character just as easily (possibly more-easily) than an animated one.

Well complaining that something got changed from a beta into a release would get you laughed out of most courts. I can’t see Chinese courts being *more* tolerant of bullshit, petty cases than others are so I’m not holding my breath awaiting the results.

Yep, came here to say the same. Take a page from the old school roguelikes and have save and quit. Sure someone will figure out a way to savescum but someone’s always going to find a way to cheat if they want to cheat so don’t penalize the rest.

I love Jordan and Killmonger is great but this feels like the most underbaked of the What If’s so far. It’s the most ‘vignettey’ other than ‘Pym kills the Avengers’ (the other weak entry in my eyes) but at least that one wrapped its main story. Yes it left a closing tag that can tie it into the others but it didn’t

Starting to wonder if they’re going to do away with the Amazons entirely. Hero joining them makes no sense this time around now that she has Sam as a friend and, honestly, the ‘men lovers’ we’ve been given are a lot more disturbing than the ‘men haters’ ever were.

Anyone know if Landis gets any payout from this for being the original writer? If so I’m not touching it with a ten foot pole even for Simu Liu.

I lucked out that the year I lived on campus was also the year the the cafeteria contract was up for renewal. Real, proper nachos, quality burgers and fries, good soup in a fresh baked bread bowl, etc.

Next year back to utter shit.

Disappointing but not really surprising either. Gaming studio culture for years has told us that this is what people are told to expect and be the norm. I’m glad we’re finally trying to tackle it, and I hope Paradox lives up to their response because I love their games, but I generally assume all major studios are

As much as I hate that they went to theater only with this with the pandemic still in full swing, and everyone will now use this to justify doing the same, I am glad for the cast and crew that it succeeded.

Imagine thinking to yourself ‘This! This is the opinion I must share with the world!’

Eh if they were in contact even before the release it means that they knew what they were doing so it’s not exactly the same situation.

‘Without his approval’ - almost certainly
‘Within the bounds of their contract and with Universal desperate to get it out before Kanye digs the grave for it even deeper’ - also almost certainly
