‘I won’t work for you if Hamada remains with the company.’

The New World segments were definitely the strongest point of this back half and quite possibly the season as a whole. The journey to it wasn’t always great but seeing the mix of wonder, joy, and unease that exploration brings was worth it. A shame we only got three episodes of it.

But I do agree that, despite it

I’m shocked, shocked I say! /s

Though likely not as shocked as some of these officers will be at how quick the blue wall can crumble when it’s feds investigating something that caused the deaths of other LEOs....

I liked the actors in the Rus storyline, I even liked some of the concepts in the Rus storyline but, woof, did that end up amounting to a big load of wasted time.

Watching it feels like watching on fast forward - you can see and tell the beats but you miss the character build and depth. Except, sadly, those are just absent.

Bamba: When you want your packing peanuts to *taste* like peanuts

I read the Battle of the Bands as Lucifer having decided from the start that Satanic Panic would win and thus it didn’t matter how well Fright Club did. Sabrina got around the cheat by winning over the audience visibly and vocally so he couldn’t just obviously declare in favor of Satanic Panic (not that I’m sure why

I know it’s been three series for all of them since Eccleston but, with the reduced episode count, they could really give Whittaker another to give her a fair shake.

The Theo breakup is made even worse by it clearly being them having no idea what else to do with him and Robin in the season but not wanting to just ignore them completely. But, because of that, it ends up not mattering in the least.

“16 going on 17” definitely seems like it should be sung by the creature taking over your brain not the one trying to stop it....

I don’t think there’s meant to be a true unity in purpose to the cosmic horrors. They’re a ‘family’ but they have their own schticks. Left alone any of them will lead to the end of the world (not counting the Uninvited, as an adoptee he’s not the same threat level) but they’re not twirling their mustaches plotting it

At that point you might as well just allow game mod devices that can replicate the glitch if only to save people’s hardware.

I don’t often miss much about home but I could definitely go for a proper holiday feed of lobster.

(And thank you for highlighting the moderate fishery issue. It might not be the normal purview of the average food article but it’s important to know the ethics of our consumption)

They’re likely digging a hole by trying to go the ‘it isn’t work’ route. If they had gone the ‘it’s entertainment’ route and worked with similar contracts to child actors (which it honestly sounds like this would fall under - limited hours, not interfering with education, guardians consent, etc) they would have a much

Is there a language barrier in the statement from the devs or has the offending piece seriously been patched out since *February* and China is still pressuring GOG and Steam to blacklist it.

‘Sometimes it’s gotta be about me’. Jesus, I know they’re trying to echo Fiona’s journey and likely have Debbie come to terms with how she saw her sister as ‘unsupportive’ despite everything she ever did for Debbie but they couldn’t have chosen a better tirade to make an insufferable character even more loathed. When

Now playing

Honestly the longer Depp stays in the public eye and the deeper he digs himself the more I keep waiting for the Scroobius Pip song to come true.

The specters are what kept Boreal from going after the knife. He’s not comfortable risking being in the city long enough to try and get it so send in those who are immune to do his dirty work.

Honestly I think smaller works better than sprawling for a design like this. The covid concerns are real but otherwise it looks great to me.

I believe it was that he got affordable rent by agreeing to do the work.
