We had a boat ramp in Nashville like this on the Cumberland River. It tended to get built up with moss, algae, and a few other slippery river bits. Every once in a while, on a nice Sunday afternoon, I’d see the “big boy” wrecker pull up to tug a $70,000 luxo-truck from the muck and mud on the bottom of the Cumberland.

I live in a city with a massive lake. I sometimes like to go to the boat launch. There is a restaurant overlooking it too. I sometimes like to go for a drink there on a Saturday night and watch the comedy show.
