I’m soooo not into sweet wine, which is why I’ve never had an acceptable PA wine....

Are any of them good, though? The few I’ve tasted are revolting. (Originally from PA, and there’s one in my hometown that was peak gross.)

Fact of interest only to me: PA is 5th in the nation in wine, with almost 300 wineries. The industry has set up 10 wine trails across the state.

I remember an American Pickers episode when one of the guys wanted to buy an old non-running motorcycle from an old guy who needed a cane to get around. Old guy refused offers because “I’m going to do something with it.” That’s probably what this RX-7 hoarder was like.

I used to do that at junkyards. I had a list I internalized of all the easy, cheap rare parts I could find while I was out looking for the actual part I needed.

It happens every once in a while I go down the rabbit hole of tail lights and can turn $40 into $500. Best find was a pair of discontinued eclipse tail lights that were mislabled for $20, sold for $1000.

This doesn’t look that rare a deal to me. To me, it looks like two animal infested RX7s and a bunch of junkyard parts with the occasional gem thrown in.

It’s always guys like this that get these too - a guy with zero RX-7 interest gets the mother lode of RX-7 goodies.

FDs aren’t exactly my cup of tea but damn at 15k he’s looking at making a 80-90k car that’s just good business
