Hey I like some of their stuff, just drove an SRT Challenger and Scat Pack Charger last week.

durango have kknob

I’ve been transporting my mother-in-law around for the last month, and I’ve been thinking about what really is the most practical type of car. It is without doubt, the minivan. It’s a shame we haven’t embraced them the way, say the Europeans did in the late-90s (remember the Renault Scenic)?

Saw the previous-gen

Define “good”.

Looks very good to me. Or are you kvetching becasue “no shift lever”? Like you would have need of one with an Automatic Trans.

Shift levers for automtics are going away in a lot of vehicles.

I am digging that profile.

Because it’s not like Chrysler and Dodge haven’t been doing it for the last 10 years or so on everything.

I think when you consider the dimensional hard points that a mini van has it's awfully hard to make them distinctive or sporty. Chrysler seems to have done a decent job.

Almost all of FCA’s offerings have this now

I think the name change was in part because Chrysler is trying to capitalize on crossovers while not actually offering a crossover. So they go into their hat of names and pull out a former crossover name for their new van. Its a smart marketing move to me.

ok, fine I'll get a minivan. this actually looks pretty handsome.

Marchionne doesn’t mind having a large number of brands, each selling a smallish range of products - basically the opposite of what everyone else in the industry, including GM, has been trying to do. Since they’re all sold under the same multi brand dealer channel, it doesn’t matter so much, every FCA US franchise

Holy crap, that’s actually really good looking. I know it’s going to get flack, because there has never been a new car debut in the past 5 years without half the population hating it, but it’s really good looking. The 200-like front end actually works and makes it look almost like a 200-based wagon or crossover (I

Yes.. Chrysler is the ONly company to Hide the Track that the door Slides it, Its a Copy right on that.

The unexpected lovechild of a Model S and a Honda Accord.

Here in Taiwan people have become afraid to hit the horn because of the tendency of triggering road rage behaviors. I personally find car horns way too loud or aggressive for most of what we use it for, such as reminding(gently) the driver in front that the light has turned green and stop looking at your damn phone.

No sane person is actually driving 650 miles on a road trip without stopping, at the very least, to pee, unless they’ve got a patented Torchinsky urination system. But, like I said, no sane person.

Even with a verbal agreement you could still be at risk. Our local public insurance tells people to avoid pulling cars out of a ditch. Additional damage means more cost and why would insurance pay to fix damage done by a non professional attempting a recovery.

Ahh, Southern California. If it isn’t enough rain, it’s too much.
