Seems to me like they just gave a ‘real’ name to the CC. (shrug)

Same; I prefer DelTaco over Tacobell, but the closest delTaco is like.. 30-40mins away, so .. tacobell is defaulted when i’m feeling like that sort of not-mexican food. lol

True; but apparently aggressive styling sells. -shrug- .. and yeah, outside the following they still have on the neons.org fb & forum, there’s not a ton of them rolling around, but the ones that are, are usually modified in one way or another. From dropping a Subaru drivetrain, to a minivan’s v6, or a mid-rear setup,

Random thing to notice: Apparently that whole track is a parking lot when they’re not racing.. lol (storage lot?)

lol, they were the quickest cars in their class, and outside it if you count the almighty miata ;) SCCA bent to the complaints that it was too fast, and soon classed them out of their groups because they gave too much to the other manufactures to “even out” the playing field. lol - So you end up with the Spec Neon

.. I wasn’t saying to use the existing car as a basis. I was just saying the exterior design still looks good, IMO, and with the ‘upgrades’ a modern.. well, everything else, would make it a good seller.

I’m not blind to the fact that 1gen neons weren’t the most safe little cars, but most early/mid-90s compact cars

Ehhh.. notsomuch. At least not 1st gen Sebrings. lol

You probably didn’t know, or remember about the other concepts they made for the 1gen neon.. GLH concept.. Guessing an ACR+ idea. OhZone - the retractable soft-top like the Fiat500 has now, and the Coupester.. which I think someone made aftermarket as a show-car that’s still around somewhere, with civic headlights. lol

I disagree about them aging, as far as their outward appearance goes. You could upgrade the lighting, safety, engine power and interior, and I think people would buy it.. especially in Coupe form.

1gen Neons. Still sort of obsessed. lol, mostly because of how flexible the platform is, and how much you can do with them for relatively low cost.

SJ Jeeps. Bf introduced me to his ‘84 Grand Wagoneer, and I have been relatively obsessed since. lol. We’ve now owned an ‘82 SJ Cherokee, an ‘67 SJ Gladiator (which we

Unfortunately neither of these are available on my bf’s phone, an LG Stylo2. Annoying because he has this issue all the time, of accidentally clearing the list or clearing a notification when he was trying to access something.

I think the biggest issue, is that restaurants are filling the tables with more ‘n more shit that people don’t care about. Advertising of their most recent ‘deals’, that little screen-thing, and booklets that people rarely actually open.. things like that.

We stack our plates because it’s easier for us. It’s not about

Did you even look at the Ram? lol — it’s storage capacity makes the Chevy’s laughable. If i were in the market, it’d be Ram, hands-down, based on the storage capacity inside alone. Not to mention the RamBox being usable with a full load of cargo.

Its funny how many of you guys are bitching about a Jeep being slow. This was the danger of making the Trackhawk or an SRT variant. You all now expect Jeeps to be fast. lol

Jeep and Ram. Jeep because they’re slotted for an hour and we already know about the refreshed Cherokee, so what do they have up their sleeve to cover that hour? Ram, because there are some interesting bits in camouflage, that may or may not be game changers. They only have a half hour, so it makes me doubly curious

Agreed, almost all the cars I’ve ever owned are blue. lol - I think there are two exceptions. The Patriot & the XJ.

‘05 Jeep Grand Cherokee. 4.7L, QuadraTracII, HD tow package.. etc.
Oldish pic, and yes, that’s in the driveway.. and the reason we can’t work on our trucks when we want to. (RAIN)

If money wasn’t a thing, we’d probably be picking up a Jeep Grand Cherokee, or a Pacifica, tbh. But alas, not much cash, means we’re keeping the WK for a bit longer, unless things change in ‘18.

We have the chips. Most of the machines break though, like most new tech. Breaks easy/quickly; and no, most American’s don’t use Checks, we use cards. I think checks are just a special-occasion and/or “old-people” thing. lol
