Because they (1gens) came in a LOT of bright AF colors. Nitro yellow-green, Lapis Blue, Aqua, intense blue, and Magenta, to name a few. The SRT neons just continued it with their special colors of the year. Solar yellow, electric blue, orange blast, commemorative edition, stone white.
