one is not based on the other; they were co-developed.

its kind of where we are now. thus the integration of cameras, some with 360-degree views.

lol, yeh; i was thinking more alaska, than toronto. lol

the renegade & 500x are on their own platform using existing drive-trains, thats all; it was designed mostly in the US & is being built in the various plants outside of the us, shipped here for sales. i think they just thought 'why not use an underused plant in italy?' (where many of the us models are coming from)

prima

true; but as i said, not everyone. a lot, sure, but theres bound to be a few that wont; either by price or preference.

theyre not hatchbacks though, like the Soul; theyre upright & more suv than car. just because it has a "car" drivetrain doesnt make it a hatch.

even the caliber had awd for a year or two. lol

ground clearance and all things jeep. its not built for speed. lol
no jeep is, save for the SRT.

uh.. rebadged caliber, is compass and patriot; which both were fwd standard & 4wd optional.

i dont think ive seen any 1.4’s built; let alone w/ 4wd. Whether thats a dealer thing (dealers order what they think will sell) or availability, idk.

not everybody needs ac (northern states and canada); and it allows ads to say “starting under 20k” lol

nope; thats like a thing now. lol

o.O that reads like it was taken out of context. the rest of it was quotes from a dealer; not someone i’d trust with behind the scenes info. smh.

Seems almost entirely conjecture.

or the occasional “turned it off too far” moment. lol

well yes; obviously, but thats the only reason to have them switched & not in the traditional way (like using extension bars etc)

My wife has a handicapped equipped Sienna van and I have seen many vans and vehicles with various adaptations for disabled drivers. I have never seen one with the pedals switched. If anyone has any information as why someone would do this, please share in the comments.

the supercharger that ate a tornado.. (jk)

o.o what is that? .. a hole or a reflection? lol

I can’t provide a complete off-road report since Land Rover’s demonstration course was about as rugged as my driveway. But the equipment’s all there, and I’ve seen every other variation of Range Rover do things you’d be nervous to try in a Wrangler Rubicon.

not a sleeper when you boast about it.
