out here, in the boonies, we don't have a whole hell of a lot of street signs, except to tell you which county your in & what the speed limit just changed to 55... 35...60...40... loong ass highway.

That said, in town, we have some intersections that have their own lanes to turn right into, people apparently don't get…

yeah; some people have to read it both ways. I'd rather have duplicate signage for the idiots than run into someone who ran a light.

No turn on red is because it's usually a blind intersection, or a multi-lane right turn. Its not about you seeing other drivers, its about them seeing you, and being able to react to you.

I always took it as "watch out for idiots that run the red light at this intersection" ..
Go slower & pay attention, but don't stop, or go annoyingly slow... like you're going to turn with no blinker.. but never turn.... i hate those people. lol

Whereas I see A TON of people not even bothering to stop for these.

GT3 and 4 had the spectators on rallying run into and out of the road too. At least on Grand Canyon anyway. I miss that track.
