The DS came before the PSP, and you could just shut it to suspend. Worked flawlessly. The Game Boy Advance also supported suspending, but it was up to the individual game to support it.

They’re completely separate games. Killer is Dead is a spiritual sequel to Killer7, but outside of the art style and developer, they have no relation.
