Even if it’s true he was taking care of the boy, we can’t read his mind. He’s a wild animal and it could have turned ugly in an instant. We just don’t know and all these “what ifs” aren’t helping anyone.

I’ve read other experts’ opinions that he was agitated and showing dominance to the crowd by dragging the child.
Seriously. The gorilla was putting on a macho performance. There was nothing nurturing about pushing the little boy around and dragging him by his little leg.
While tragic, the loss of this gorilla, we also slaughter one million chickens per day, so we can shove cheap meat into our fat faces.
Keep seeing this “The gorilla was being kind!” reaction.. Are people just not seeing the part where he grabbed the child by the foot and dragged him through the water repeatedly?
I’m so tired of this story in every single way.
